Hey AC, why aren’t you dancing for joy? SA are out of the RC, something you’ve been begging to happen for years.

Dumb post. I have always wanted the RC/Tri nations to remain. It's Super Rugby that I've wanted gone for years. Easy mistake for you to make though given English is most likely your 2nd or 3rd language

They're never going to be accepted into the 6Ns and, unlike Super Rugby, the RC is still a viable concern both financially and competitively. As much as many fans would love to see it a return to intermittent but long form tours isn't going to happen.
That's your opinion. The reality is that you will be vokked money wise without us.
You're like a stuck record.

The reality is, all the member nations of the Rugby Championship depend on each other to form the comp. That's how partnerships work. The SARU hasn't done anyone any favours, the comp would be just as unattractive to corporate sponsors and TV broadcasters without the AB's or the Wallabies. If South Africa had never joined the Tri Nations back in 1996 then NZ and Australia would have organised their affairs differently. But yes, pulling out of the comp two weeks before it was meant to start has left NZR and RA "vokked".
Australia and NZ dont need South Africa. That's what you have been posting for decades.

I have no doubt that the Rugby Championship will continue IF Robinson stop his kak by try to organise his own selfish kak without talking to the other partners from the start. He forced Saru to react the way they did.

(Why do you reply to my posts after putting me on Ignore?)

Australia and NZ don't need SA. That's obvious. But South Africa pulling out of a competition two weeks before it was scheduled to start, when tickets and TV rights have already been sold, is clearly not ideal timing for NZ and Australia. Had the SARU called it quits at the end of last year's Rugby Championship then we wouldn't be in this situation. Surely even you can understand this?

Whoa whoa!! You KNEW the Boks would walk away from 2020 RC last year already, but didn't tell anyone???

That's pretty selfish, dude. We could have saved thousands of lives if you had shared your unique knowledge of the future.

SA Rugby to earn R130-million despite Boks' withdrawal

SA Rugby will not lose 'hundreds of millions of rands' after withdrawing the Springboks from the Rugby Championship, as has been reported.

In fact, according to Daily Maverick sports editor Craig Ray's sources, SA Rugby will actually earn R130-million.

This is due to a collective bargaining agreement that guaranteed all four Sanzaar nations would benefit financially even if one was unable to attend the tournament for Covid-19 reasons.

SA Rugby would have earned R189-million had the Springboks participated, so they are 'only' missing out on R59-million.

A Tri-Nations tournament – involving the All Blacks, Wallabies and Pumas – will take place in Australia from 31 October to 5 December.

Well, if the partners earn roughly the same, NZ will also lose out on R 59 000 000, which is about NZ $ 5 163 295. That amount can bankrupt NZ Rugby :wtf

I think youve been on the brandy too long Sards... as a businessman (apparently), would you continue to use the same supplier if they took your money and didnt provide the service or product you paid for?

this is what SARU have done.

So is that R59 mil going to the other 3 on top of their standard agreed fees? Sounds like the Kiwis are getting an extra NZD 1.8 mil for just turning up!
