You've got to be something of a weirdo to do it but I don't see that receiving one is that big a deal. People are abusing each other on PR all the time, including C Fatty 9, so you reap what you sow.
My concern was more about my email being public. But doesn't seem to be the case.

You can contact people through their profiles. If they send you an email, it's directed to the email address they registered with

You can decline that option but you have to go in and do it as it defaults to Yes
OK. Thanks.

Buy some tickets - there is going to be one hell of a show there very soon.

Thanks for the work moderating across both forums. I’m sure it can be a thankless task and one where you’d hope decency and common sense would take care of things on their own, but you guys do a good job.

Might want to retract that Enz, in case of data privacy actions. Don’t want any pricks taking this place down.

Although, would the liability be on PR??? On second thought …

Think of it as a neigbourhood watch scheme, fortunately this place needs little or no moderating as we have a good membership cadre, and Zapp takes no prisoners.

When I say "exchanged", I mean that we share the same moderators.

First time I have logged on to NPR for a while - apologies for that. Interesting times but I don’t see a downside for NPR given effective Border Controls. Had a rare look at PR too : haven’t posted there in maybe a year. Pretty sad really but probably inevitable.

It’s much more reasoned and sane in here. Less angry. Even Torque was saying how he was enjoying the freedom of Finn Russell’s play lately.

I thought that was handled as a proxy/relay i.e. the MB sends the pm onto the member's registered private email without actually revealing the address?

That is correct, but it still is pretty poor behaviour taking it off board.

Agree, but not sure what people expect when it's run by a guy who used a poster's email address to get him fired.
