Too early for me that one but had Chiefs to sneak it so.....

Was at game, loved it, bloody enjoyable game. Seemed to be played at 100mph in first half, and team (mainly Canes) took a bit to get into it in 2nd half.
Nothing beats a day at rugby!

I’ve caught up with a bit of a highlights package. That try of Ardie’s… well taken and just sheer strength, but why was he so late getting to the breakdown that led to the penalty? He was right there at the start of the play and nowhere at the end of it.

I look at the log and see the Aussies at the top. Obviously haven't played NZ teams?

Truth is I gave him a pass mark, which is all I would of expected in first game there for a long time. He looked ok defensively, carrued only a couple of times and generally crossed advantage line.
Player who continues to impress me is Sam Cane, shit he was good. was everywhere and doing good stuff. I personally think there daylight between him and other 7s in NZ at moment.

Is Ardie asthmatic? I noticed a number of times he was struggling for breath after seemingly having done nothing just before. He has these bursts of energy though like for that try.. but he is the opposite of Cane who is a human dynamo.. never stops...

How's Ardie's vision these days?

Josh Ioane had an encouraging game. Only one game, but looked sharp after that early intercept. Hope the injury isn't too bad...

He's been critisised numerous times for setting a bad example by not wearing a mouth guard (interferes with his breathing apparently). And he had to start wearing a mask to protect his eyesight prior to RWC 2019, but soon ditched it for...reasons.
