Englands final points diff is +5, compared with France +68, & Ireland +105

If that's doesn't tell you how toothless Englands attack is, nothing will

Kerrist, you are full of sh*t. England should have seen a red and a yellow and they would have been hammered then. Peyper and his crony TMO kept England in the game.

I genuinely think France are massively overrated. Ireland are still fits and starts but are better than France at full tilt
I mean, they’ve literally beaten everyone this year, including Ireland, so how do you expect them to be rated?

Keep it up. Your paucity of attacking options saw you struggle against 13 man Italy and 14 man England until both sides finally ran out of steam.

And our points difference is still 37 points better than Frances, despite us playing the two best sides away, while you met them at home .....

Hey, I've no problem with Frances Grand Slam, they're well worth it this year. But the idea that there's been a huge gap between their performance & Irelands is laughable.

I think there is a gap, maybe not huge but a gap nonetheless.

France were the best side followed by Ireland, then Scotland, England and Wales were all close, maybe Scotland hanging on there.

Italy had a terrific win today, what a try, what a result

We can argue the toss over the size of the gap, but the fact is that France faced its two biggest challengers at home, & Ireland faced them away; & Ireland had a considerably better points difference across the whole series.

I'm happy enough that this time around it's France that could end up having to deal with peaking a year too early.

The thing about France is that I never got the impression they were peaking, but they have grown a hard edge mentally. There is a lot more to come from this team.

I think Jalibert will make a difference for France.

France looked a superior team to Ireland when they played each other and while Ireland scored more points against England they did so against 14 for pretty much the entire match and looked significantly worse than France for a big chunk of the game. Sorry, I don't really have them at the same level - France are a different class.

Ireland the next best, obviously.

French set piece much improvred from last week.
I was surprised at how poor England were at protecting their own ball and played time and time again in French hands.

The French passing wasn't as good as I would have hoped for, leading to too many knock on. There was something that did stick less than in other games there.

France remain pretty good at taking the points when they get opportunities though. This is their strength.

Good luck with that. This France side is nowhere near its peak: I noticed Bernol had several performances in the 6s last night.

There are some weaknesses too
- Tighthead remains a problem. Atonio adds bulk at scrum time but is a liability around the park
- Lineout option appears to be Woki.......... or Woki......... who is not really a lock anyway
- Jelonch is France's Suitcase but that is easily fixed with plenty of flankers better than him which would also provide a 2nd jumping option
- The biggest problem remains the inability for the backs to capitalise on the forwards' efforts and that all stems from 10. Again, fixable with Jalibert (if ever fit) and Racing's Gibert looks like he might be the smartest thinking FH in France. It doesn't need a magician at 10: just someone who does the basics and takes the right options.
- FB. France's Achilles since Sadourny. Jaminet is in the side because he can kick dead ball (usually) and Ntamack cannot. He looks permanently vulnerable under the high ball.

18 handling errors last night too. I suspect more than the entire tournament and possibly some reflection of the pressure of expectation.

It’s one of the reasons I find youngs so frustrating to watch; he seems oblivious to the fact that he needs to avoid passing to unsupported forwards. I don’t know whether it’s just my youngs prejudice, but I always feel we get pinged for getting isolated and ‘holding on’ more when he’s playing.

Pick a succession of 5.5s and a 7 whose job is to do the tight 5's tackling and expect to be overwhelmed.

His continual selections alone is grounds for Jones to be booted. Slow ball = no ball. Smith was screwed playing outside that.

From the whole tournament, I would say that Baille, Marchand, Cros, Aldritt, Dupont, Fickou and Villere are "Team of the 6 Nations" material for their consistent good performances.

Penaud and Danty are not far.

This all started when you robbed us of the next World Cup. Nobody wants to go to France and are being made go there by cash money types who lack passion. Pity they chose one of the worst pitches in France in the pouring rain for this one. Totally nullifies France's attack too.
