Incredible match but the ABs bottled that for sure. Had so many opportunities to ice that game. Terrible performance

Hence the words "in NZ".
But you are right, Foster's coaching was just as bad at the RWC.
That was a dummy jump. Was missed behind him by Vaai.Enzedder wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 4:49 amWibble - did you see your vote for All Black captain couldn't even catch a lineout ball with two hands. . Mo'unga was fine. In the final three minutes he made a line break to get us field position and then stripped a wallaby player of possession to win a turn over.
Perhaps. They certainly didn't step up this time, not in the backs anyway.Enzedder wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 4:55 amHe's an utter incompetent - I knew that for ten years.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 4:54 amKeep trolling Enzedder. But your players fucking suck under pressure mate - absolutely fucking suck.
Ridiculous no one dropped into the pocket at the end, but not only that they had Richie and jordie wandering around close to the ruck. Sure the kick might be the hard option, then at least look like you're going to do something else.
That's the worst set of rose tinted glasses ever. He was ordinary. Made too many mistakes and didn't lead the team around the park.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 4:58 amMo'unga was fine. Ardie tried to carry us back onto it. Thought big Karl had done a great turnover but got pinged for not rolling away somehow.Ted. wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:00 amPerhaps. I thought Taylor was decent Whitelock was immense. We're there any others in the pack that showed up outside the scrum?
Smith kicked away the ball every time we had possession in our own half, and we never had possession in the the Wallaby's half. As usual, Richie Mo'unga is expected to play perfectly each and every game.Ted. wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:03 amThat's the worst set of rose tinted glasses ever. He was ordinary. I am not at all advocating for any alternatives, he's the best we have at the moment, but he's not up to standard either.
Thought Vaa'i threw his frame around to good effect when he came on.Monkey Magic wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:04 am Ardie tried to carry us back onto it. Thought big Karl had done a great turnover but got pinged for not rolling away somehow.
Frizzell and Tuipulotu didn't seem to get the chance to throw their frames around as much as we would like
Yep - you started the tribalism with that comment - but your players were too bloody poor to do anything about it.Ymx wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 4:58 amOr the chiefs reknowned for closing off tight games.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 4:56 amWhat do you mean by "your" players? Enz calm down. Did you notice that they weren't willing to trust Mo"unga with a droppie?
I thought Bridge was our best outside back, and deserves to retain the 11 jersey.Jb1981 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:20 am That was game one so I’m not expecting wholesale change. For the backs I would like Rieko anywhere but Centre (the bench or outside the 23 would be fine). Goodhue can take that spot and ALB 12. If they want Jordie in the team I would start him at Fullback. Clark could then come into the starting side or one of Reece or Jordan.
If Rieko needs to be on the field I’d prefer he was carrying water.Jb1981 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:20 am That was game one so I’m not expecting wholesale change. He had a much better second half than first half, but Clarke was very good when he came on.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:23 am I thought Bridge was our best outside back, and deserves to retain the 11 jersey.
Yep, I would keep Bridge there. Fundamentally, I would like players picked in their best positions - hence if they really want Jordie, put him at the back and by getting rid of Rieko, let’s get the centres sorted.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:23 amI thought Bridge was our best outside back, and deserves to retain the 11 jersey.Jb1981 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:20 am That was game one so I’m not expecting wholesale change. He's the 1st 5, mate. It's his job to call it. If Nugget is grabbing the initiative too much, it's up to Moanga to call it. If he won't do that he shouldn't be there. He needs to call those shots, otherwise we may as well have Beaudy in there doing random shit. In fact, Beaudy would have runbthevcutteg better than that.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:05 amSmith kicked away the ball every time we had possession in our own half, and we never had possession in the the Wallaby's half. - What if any selection changes do you think will happen for next week?
Wouldn't chnage the fowrads much - Ardie didn't impress and neither did Tuipolotu but we don't have anyone better at the moment
Reiko can be treated like Steven Donald for all I care (and he can come back and win a world cup too)
Beauden Barrett to the bench, Jordie to fullback and Will Jordan to the wing?
- What changes to our game-plan are needed?
It's a hard one - how much of that was weather affected?
- Why was Jordie Barrett goal kicking? Richie Mo'unga has always been a more accurate goal kicker, so why was JB given the job? I suspect it's because Foster intends to rotate RM and Beaudan Barrett at 10, so he wants his first choice goal kicker on the field all the time.
Home ground?
Midfield needs fixing. A starting 2 from Lumpy, ALB, Goodhue. What % recovery is the lump at now?Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 5:21 am Some questions for AB's fans;
