Yeah Ox, he was better in the second half.

I'm not the only poster who posted that he was crappy in the first half.
Only Chilli the chop shed tears when the Sharks won and became the highest ranked SA team on the log.
I would not want Hendrikse close to the Bok team at this point of time either. Very inconsistant, he is prone to costly mistakes more often than a SH should be. And often he acts like a soccer player, complaining, throwing tantrums when he does not like a ref's decision. At least he did not do much of that today. He can be good at times, but not enough to be in the bok squad right now.

Otherwise good win from the Sharks.

I reckon a Leinster v SA side final. But who will it be? I am sure all the SA posters on here will reach agreement in a gentlemanly manner.
Should be a cracker as Leinster will bring their A Team against a fired up SA side.

I was really dubious about this at first but there are now so many positives.
Kick up the arse for Wales. Shape up or resign yourselves to cr@pness.
European competitions will be more than interesting. Leinster and Munster have been the only sides outside England and France to ever do anything in latter stages in the top comp. Bring it on.

Is this the fucking saffer broadcasters doing?

Evan Roos having a shocker so far.
2 knock ons, one impotent carry while we was cleaning a loose ball and one ruck pillar block that should have been a penalty but the ref missed it.

Hope he improves as the match progresses. Poor start from him.

I wonder if we will see ourselves supporting the URC Saffer sides in Europe against the English and French.

I mean, obviously against the English.

Elrigh Louw was also quiet last night. They've still got lots to learn. Phepsi had a good game for the Sharks. Carried very strongly.

Phespsi the best 8 of the weekend so far. Seems like the top 8s in SA are rotating the title week by week which is concerning.

The only loosies that have been consistently good week in and week out IMO have been Deon Fourie and Vincent Tshituka.

The Stormers with very bad ball management in this 1st half, playing right into Leinster's hands. Someone needs to call for some calm heads, it seems they are trying to push the plays and keep on coughing the ball up. Hopefully they can turn things around this 2nd half the same way the other SA teams did.

I thought it was only a Bulls habit to play like crap in the 1st half and then somehow turn it around the 2nd half

Heroic defense by Leinster with two amazing tackles.

Stormers must be shattered fluffing those chances. Diyamani carting the ball in the wrong hand there. Cost him a try.

It is true in general though, he never really set the 15's scene alive. He does not have the elusiveness of top wingers in 15's. Is he being called up for the 7's World Cup. I see the Bulls will lose both Arendse and Gans for to the 7's team during that time.

Disappointing by the Stormers. The first 10mins were spectacular, but the match fizzled out after that. Too many errors and penalties.

Roos was terrible today. Pitch also looked greasy AF. Stormers need to fix their lineout and quick. We may be high on the log, but we don’t look like a championship winning outfit at all.

Interesting last week coming up. From a Bulls point of view they need to win their next game and hope that Leinster beat Munster. That could give the Bulls a home QF. There is now a possibility that all 3 SA teams could have home QFs if they can all somehow win their last games . Would not have thought that is possible a couple of months ago.

Yeah they made very hard work of this win. I really thought if they could cut out 1st half mistakes they would pull away, but not to be. Roos seemed to lose his head more than once, once costing a penalty that luckily for them did not effect their field position in the end. Also knocked on the ball a few times.

Leinster have a great squad though, dirt trackers staying competitive. Not sure there is any other team in the URC with that depth in the full squad.

I never thought I would see the day that Leinster would kick the ball out to get a Losing Bonus Point. That is the sort of think you expect from the Welsh or Newcastle/Worcester

Hard lines Embra !

It was a match fitting of their first sellout, but their squandered opportunities in the 1st half bit them on the arse at the end.

I had to check who Ulsters Defense coach was, because this win & a big part of their improvement this down to Jared Payne, & sadly he's off to Clermont next year.
