Roos was terrible today. Pitch also looked greasy AF. Stormers need to fix their lineout and quick. We may be high on the log, but we don’t look like a championship winning outfit at all.
Yeah they made very hard work of this win. I really thought if they could cut out 1st half mistakes they would pull away, but not to be. Roos seemed to lose his head more than once, once costing a penalty that luckily for them did not effect their field position in the end. Also knocked on the ball a few times.

Leinster have a great squad though, dirt trackers staying competitive. Not sure there is any other team in the URC with that depth in the full squad.
More young and inexperienced rather than dirt trackers.

And did the Stormers get the full house in dirty play ?
Hit in the air, high tackle, flip tackle, pushing opponents head into the dirt because you're a cúnt, and deliberate blocking.

And not a YC to be seen........

To be fair, the Saffers on here called Roos being a shit stain real time; & the rest is just Pro Rugby.

He should get sighted, & have a week off at the worst time of the season now; because it was unnecessary, & deserved a YC; but unfortunately sighting only happens at the RC level, so instead the Ref should get a de-merit for missing an event that could have been significant, but because he buggered up the call, it wasnt't.

It's that Corne Krige Boishaai mentality that got the better of Roos. Must have happened at some stage. Hope he learned from this.

I still don't understand the TMOs chipping in. Even Adamson allows it.

Anyways the Stormers should have put Leinster away much earlier. They spilled a lot of tries.

He is still young so I imagine that Rassie won't hold it against him too much. But if it keeps happening it will harm his Bok prospects

Dreadful. On a happier note I wasn’t expecting Ospreys v Scarlets to be a 90 point 13 try thriller.

I haven't seen a whole lot of niggle from him. He seems like a head screwed on kind of guy. He's very hyped so the opposition will be marking him and trying to get under his skin a bit.

Blommetjies coming to the Stormers and Gelant off to Racing 92 in France according to the Twitter gossips. Sharks lose their best back to Japan. Lions their best back to Bath. Stormers best back goes to France. I wouldn't be surprised if Elrigh Louw and Evan Roos are off soon too.

I think that Roos and Louw will want to get capped before they go anywhere so they stay on Rassie's radar

Rassie and Nienaber have a very low tolerance for dirty play and ill discipline. The players in the squad mention it quite a lot in interviews and documentaries.
Roos' age might give him some mitigation, but I'd say his outbursts yesterday did more to dent his Bok prospects than his general poor performance did.

Rassie and Nienaber like scrappers. Players that have gone through the ringer and clawed their way to the top. Players that have overcome adversity and disappointment.
Yesterday Roos showed that, in his current vintage at least, he is petulant and lashes out when things don't go his way. Not a good look.

That looks impressive. But I doubt he will find a place in the boks before this chap. Been very impressive in the URC and this video was made 6 months ago. The leadership quality will be the Trump card. As well as pedigree through the age groups and good discipline, not prone to roid rage

The Roos edit waa just dropped. Damage control.

Sharks busy bolstering their stocks ahead of expansion into the Championship. Rohan confirmed. This effectively would have him in the championship squad with current centres staying in the URC and the Sharks have signed the top performing varsity cup fullback who will probably bolster the Currie Cup team.
Just as Leinster is expected to field more than 1 team at any point the Sharks are busy preparing for 3 different levels.

This season had a lot of Covid gaps. Can't see them cut teams, Like to see them play on one log (once against each other) without this stupid conferences which give the Welsch and Scots free logpoints.

I think it would be fairer if there were 7 qualifiers from the Premiership, and 9 from the URC. At the moment 8/13 (61.5%) Prem teams make it, and only 50% of URC teams.

Money talks !

I'd be happier if the Champions was smaller, & the Challenge larger, so that the top teams didn't face the fixture congestion they do, & the Challenge was better respected as a path to qualification to the Champions.

Only the Cheetahs, Bulls, Sharks and Griquas/Pumas are competitive. The rest are just making up the numbers at the bottom of the log.
Cheetahs are playing their best possible side.
Bulls are mixing CC and URC.
Sharks are mainly CC with a few URC.
Griquas and Pumas their best possible.

There is a huge gap between these and the rest.

Can't see the Griquas and Pumas being competitive enough for URC.
That leaves the Cheetahs....and then what do they have for the CC.
