Not to be overly dramatic but… is that result in Cardiff a turning point for both nations
Official United Rugby Championship thread
An interesting question.

It's all very pantomime villain with the Ulster crowd, I wouldn't take offense.

Not offended. Just thought booing was a New Zealand thing.
They will

Sharks just don't look convincing in attack. They're in too much of a hurry, & a disciplined defense can hold them out, until they make an error, & cough up possession.
Problem is thst their 10 is crap.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 7:20 pm Sharks just don't look convincing in attack. They're in too much of a hurry, & a disciplined defense can hold them out, until they make an error, & cough up possession.
I only caught the end of the game but they made Treviso look amazing.

Everything dying with Bosch in attack it feels
True, but I also think it is a validation of the decision to include the SA teams that the crowds and teams really get up for those games. Bodes really well for future seasons as the SA sides get more used to venues like this

Much more interesting than the Welsh teams coming over anyway.

Sharks well on their way to a bonus point loss. There is no passion.

Most of the Springboks in the Sharks team do not look like bok players for most of this season. I do not think most of them can claim to be on merit in the current bok squad even though they will be there. Extremely disappointing show by the supposedly best team in SA on paper.
Bulls let the Ospreys off the hook at the end of the first half. Considering the Ospreys pack have possibly 5 possible Wales starters, it must be worrying for them how they struggle against a Bulls pack without any current Springboks. Hopefully the Bulls can come up with their customary strong 2nd half showing.

I refer the learned gentlemen to my post above. As many English teams have found out over the years.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 8:01 pm Sharks well on their way to a bonus point loss. There is no passion.

Mapimpi should have backed himself there
Sharks seem to have poor halfbacks considering the quality they have elsewhere in the team.

Williams should have started. At least the Sharks show a bit of fight in the end.
Bulls will bag 5 and move 1 ahead of the Sharks on the log. Stormers will need a win tomorrow to get in the top 4.
