Are you stupid? Most of your Bulls team were talented school kids from these values.

Get a life, doos.
That's not my point. We need to speak about the present, not "in 3 years once Kade/Damian/random Paarl Gim flyhalf has some experience we can replace Handre". Willemse was hyped beyond belief, his career is still promising but he is not on the right track. The pressure gets to these kids.

You are correct, the Cape region produces some excellent rugby players. It was not an attack on the quality of the players.

Where do you think Hsnsre Pollard roots are? He won interschools for Paarl Gim from grade 11. He won us the u20 WC while stil in school

I know where Handre's roots are. I've met him ffs. Read the last sentence I posted. Maar as ons praat oor die flyhalf situasie vir die Bokkie, ek wil nie van 'Mossie' of 'Kade' hoor nie. Ons het al gesien wat gebeur met baie druk op 'n jong laaitie (Willemse).

I just hope these boys are more like Pollard than Willemse.

Oom seems to think I'm saying that Paarl Gim players are kak. All I'm saying is that we've seen Willemse be hyped and maybe that has played a role in him not reaching where he should be- it could be from him feeling too much pressure to be the star, or perhaps even arrogance, I don't know.

Let's not repeat that with these new Paarl Gim kids. It's not fair on them, if anything.

If anything, it reflects well on Paul Roos but badly on the Stormers. Schoolboy amazing talent didn't turn into amazing talent at Super Rugby level. Willemse clearly needs a change of scenery.

He’s been terrible in the CC.
I think he is one of those players that only really shines when he is surrounded by other star players. Where he doesn’t have to be the “leader” but can relish in being the class clown/joker type in the team.

When Ruan got injured Frans was suddenly the most senior player in the team and expected to lead. Also what happens when he is thrust into the 10 jersey and flops whenever that is tried.

He wants/needs that freedom to clown around and try some crazy shit on the park without the expectations that go with being a “serious” senior player.

I agree with all of that. I said earlier that when Pienaar was injured, that was the end of the Cheetah's chances of winning the Currie Cup.

He'd definitely put on some timber since the beginning of the season.

Elton Jantjies settled the backup 10 to Pollard last night.

Nohamba and Bosch fell of the bus badly last night. They could not catch a cold and kicked every bit of possession high and kak.

Kicking the ball is hardly a disqualification for higher honours.

But I agree, I'm no fan of Elton but his experience is really coming through nowadays. Good to see him playing with a smile on his face.

What are you talking? Jantjies attacked and break the gain line at will and distribute excellent.

Bosch knock on a few times, kick 80% of the time and distribute twice which Louw ran into a brick wall.

Just imagen going into an All Black test with him.

Unjust obviously.

Apparently the British government are doing an excellent job with Covid response. According to many of the Brits on the Bored that is.

Don't try and suggest otherwise.
