Good to see Biden come out to support Lula as tje new President, thus breaking the longstanding tradition of the US supporting right wing coups in South America.

He's fucking mental!..

A Radical Left Lunatic Judge in New York City, who controls a newspaper dedicated largely to defaming me, who was appointed, & is controlled by, my worst political enemies, & whose purpose was to just do preliminary motions & preparatory work on a case brought by the corrupt and highly partisan Attorney General of New York State prior to being routinely sent to the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court, is refusing to let go of the case. He is a partisan disaster. A Rigged & Corrupt System!

The New York State Court System is being ridiculed all over the World! You have a Corrupt, Racist, Weak on Crime Attorney General, Letitia “Peekaboo”James, who campaigned on “I will get Trump, even though she knew NOTHING about me. Then you have a highly political, biased Judge, who is totally controlled by my worst enemies. His rulings and manner are SICK. He gave his quick hearing, & ridiculous decision, right before Midterms - A No No! He’s worse than Peekaboo, and a real “Trump Hater."

No, No; remember Sneaker assured us he was a genius playing 4D chess, while us poor grubs didn't understand what a genius he really was

The cause of the rant was the Judge in NY stopping his shell game, to transfer assets out of Shitgibbon Corp, to a new Shitgibbon Corp II. Now there's a Court appointed supervisor, (paid for by the Shitgibbon), who will have sight over all financial transactions

He knows he'll lose the case, & now he can't move the assets to escape the fines, & tax judgements.

Nah; there are other smarter, less toxic, but equally detestable Candidates in the GOP. The only thing he has, that the GOP wants, is all that money the rubes have been giving to him.

The one thing that trump and the rest of the GQPer's have shown - is that the Democrats are completely incompetent when comes to being political operators.

They are always 2 steps behind. How they haven't managed to unite the independents and moderates against the scum that is the GQP is beyond me.

Inclined to agree with R2D2. They've had loads of time and can't seem to land anything on the guy.

And what should they do exactly? Who are these independents and moderates that the, Democrats should catch that is winning politics? Let's not forget how close Trump came to winning the last election despite everything and all those people willing to vote anybody but Trump. The US voters like their scum.

From the vantage point of knowing what I know about US politics is what I read about here and in limited observations of the social discourse in the States...

the Democrats and their supporters just haven't made the quantum leap into deranged mud flinging that their opponents are so deeply into. They still seem to hold to values. Full stop. There lies the contrast.

That's it in a nutshell. They are shoeins in a few years but tbf with the way the world is going to look in 2023-2024 that's likely either way. Good to see Trump is dragging them down though as it should have been a blow out
The GOP will do a much better job of ripping each other to shreds, than the DNC could ever do !

The toxic turd is now going to have his candidacy challenged by DeSantis, & he'll spend all the money pile he has on destroying him.

They'll fight like rats in a sack trying to get on the ticket with him, even though they know he's toxic.

It's always nice when someone tells you exactly who they are.
As votes rolled in from across the country Tuesday night, Donald Trump said something truly incredible when asked about how much credit or blame he should get for the election results.

“I think if they win, I should get all of the credit, and if they lose, I should not be blamed at all,” Trump told NewsNation, adding: “But it will probably be just the opposite.”

Yes, he really said that. And, no, he wasn’t kidding. He would, quite simply, like to have his cake and eat it, too.

In Trump’s world, all good things are the direct result of his action while all bad things are definitely someone else’s fault. He is forever telling himself a story in which he is the forever hero – fighting off the losers and the haters who are dragging him down.
If it's good; it's all down to me; if it's bad; it's someone else's fault !

For someone who doesn't drink; I think that's the finest example of, "In vino, veritas", I've ever seen; In his case, it's probably more like; "In viterol, veritas"

According to AOC, by 2024 Millenials and Gen Z will outnumber the Boomer vote by something like 45/25.

According to exit polls, the youth vote fell 63% /37% in favour of the Democrats.

The GOP are going to tear themselves apart over Trump. If the Democrats are smart, all they need to do is play to the younger vote and address the issues those voters are most concerned over.

They really are despicable arseholes. There was an article on the news the other night about voter suppression and them banning water and food being made available to the very long queues that were forming at some polling stations after others had been shut down. This was in mainly black communities.

Some enterprising folk were setting up stalls just on the boundary, to keep the voters going.

this race has tightened, ~60 votes in now. Does it then go to a run off?

IH I believe it only goes to a run off if neither candidate gets to 50%, so by the look of it, no.

How Boebert gets 150k votes is beyond me. She is a piece of trash who has done nothing for her constituents.

Next Republican cunt up the ladder is De Santis. Absolute Hitler wanna be. The shit he's pulling in FL is beyond the pale.

Propaganda and disinterest/wilful ignorance. Everything you've read and heard about her that points out that she's a morally bankrupt moron who is neither willing nor capable of doing her job, has completely passed by those who feed on a steady diet of Fox News or consume no political information other than 'Dems bad' from the people they know.

The only thing I can think of is she waves guns around a lot, and that seems to resonate with some people.

In a similar vein, Marjorie Taylor Greene was re-elected in Georgia. Clueless, vicious and vacuous, but people still voted for her.

I've lost track with what's going on regarding the shipping of immigrants to Cape Cod etc, I had heard rumblings that De Santis might be on the hook for human trafficking. I'll live more in hope than expectation.

Yip. Fucking crazy. We live on the border (literally the 49th parallel) and prior to 2016/17 we are happy to spend some holiday $$ down there. But not any more. Place makes me sick to my stomach and fear for the few 'normal' people left down there.

One of the shitgibbons moron lawyers just got slapped by a Judge with a $50,000 fine, & an additional $16k costs, for filing a frivolous lawsuit against a bunch of Democrats. This is just the response to one of the named persons filing a challenge to the suit, & there's still a million dollar ruling hanging out there from the other parties involved challenge.

Oh, & the judge didn't mince words, & suggested that the lawyer should also face professional sanctions.

Looking at the election map on the New Yorker site, it shows the count for the Senate at 49 - 49, with Georgia and Alaska heading to a new vote and Nevada not decided yet. How can this be when there are only 50 states? What am I missing?

Has Alaska been counted for the GOP given that the two candidates in the run-off election are both R?
