Heard a lot about Jasper Wiese. Not impress with him and Kwagga.
Kwagga has always been a bit meh.
Wiese has been ok, but not anything special.
Evan Roodt would have been a better fit
He is still very young. Will be interesting how he go this afternoon.
I still rate the ysters likes of Jacques Rudolph and Willie Engelbrecht.

Worried about our depth at lock and fly half.
Neither of Morne Steyn or Elton Jantjies seem to be close to Pollard’s level. Goosen played well today but it’s a one-off. Hope he can keep it up.
After Etzebeth and Mostert, we are also light without Snyman and De Jager. None of parachuted guys seem to have the same intensity and work rate. Between the lot of them NJVR is probably in the lead, but had a terrible second half against the Bulls. JLdP and Elstadt offered little. Orie was okay against Georgia.
Rassie should call Goosen up and start him on the bench. Covers 10, 12, 13 and 15. And kicks at goal.
His kicking (out of hand and place) is excellent like Pollard.
Should be a shoe in after today.

For the amount that we kick in rugby, our players are remarkably shit when contesting for high balls.
Björn Basson was able to carve out an entire career by just developing that one skill.

Roos looks like he is up for the challenge today. Seems like he has been tasked to assist in containing Duhan.
Frustrating watching the Stormers backs kicking away all the hard-earned possession the forwards are grinding for.
Too many penalties too. Momentum now with the Lions.

Your backs are very strong, making turnovers and tackles the forwards aren’t

You almost have to believe that it’s a bluff Gatland and come the first test they’re going to switch it up 180 and play a fast, wide offloading game.
If there forwards intend on doing one-up pick-and-goes against the Boks they are going to get ground into dust.

Greenwood has found time to mention Harris getting skinned on Wed by Kolbe, suggesting Daly would be the better option. He seems to have missed Daly's 2 missed tackles so far today, no mention of them.

Daly missing a few tackles already. I'm all.for considering him at 13 but missing some tackles is far from ideal.

BILs suck in the forwards and then expose gaps which they attack through. And accelerate the pace.
