And PS Galthie: see what an impact Vincent has made. Send Moefana back to the Federales where he belongs.

Was that 2, 3 or 4 knock ons by the Frenchman at the ruck there?

Well played the last 8 minutes France. Saved an error-strewn 72 mins of village rugby.

Not his fault. NZ just aren't expecting him to run and reacting accordingly.

Thing is, this is what this French team do that others in the past haven’t, win when emotional and not playing well
Yes and no. There are better teams out there. Ireland for example when humming. South Africa
I don’t think so. This was always going to be a tough gig with the occasion but they have done the job

NZ have been pretty poor I've thought. At times overplaying in the wrong areas, other times awful kicking (and wildly shit chasing after it), poor discipline gifting France points throughout, for the first hour trying to play a game their ability couldn't cash, and towards the end ran out of ideas completely.

France have been alright and came on strong towards the end both with and without the ball, but for a large part of the game they just had to stay in it and let NZ beat themselves somewhat.

France need to sort out their backline defence. SA, Ireland and Argentina will makes easy, sexy yards.

Well played, France. Completely dominated the second half.

Very disappointing from the ABs after an encouraging first forty. Terrible discipline and mostly pinned down inside our 22. Predictably dire.

He ran because he had tried kicking it over and over and it had turned an even game into a big deficit - gotta chance your arm..he had support but no one was on the same wavelength and no one was steaming in to secure the ball. Depressing stuff for anyone who likes watching the all blacks, they've been robbed of their identity by joyless number crunching coaches

Beauden Barrett can fuck right off. Endless aimless kicking. We’re so fucked. Fozzie can fuck off. Half the team can fuck off with him.

This. France the better team but doesn't make them unbeatable. ABs were poor, bordering on very poor at times. Hopefully that's the worst from us.

If Danty gets back or Vincent starts instead of the invisible man, those gaps will be far fewer.

Surprised the ABs seemed to fade more in the heat than France.

Two Tests in a row now. I think this AB team is sub-par and has no chance of a semi-final.

You've forgotten the game just two weeks ago, then.
Difference was the Bokke were good on the day, the French were shite today

And a new record for Foster, first loss in a pool match.

He can still get two more. First loss to Italy. Not make the QFs.

Don't disagree with that actually. Tough quarter no matter what. But, I can, and I fucking well will, live in hope.

Yep, there's still history to be made before he exits.
