Watching Making a Murderer... I have to keep telling myself this is real life... in particular the deliberate manipulation of a child with learning difficulties... it's like something you thought might happen in a bad movie from the 1950s... but everything about it is disturbing...

Unless they get solid evidence proving someone else did it (Brendan's brother?) then it's all uphill... but it's comical the way the evidence was presented.

Half way through season 3 of Mr Inbetween and still really enjoying it. Great little cameo from Ian Roberts in the first episode - poor Graham!

Black Flavor Cherry, 8 episode limited series. Popped up out of nowhere on Netflix and I'm really enjoying it. Wannabe director comes to Hollywood, gets screwed out of making her own film and vows revenge on the sleazy film producer responsible. It's a surprisingly bright and breezy horror with a refreshingly casual take on the little bits of witchery that pop up. I hesitate to say magic as that conjures up some really negative connotations of people waving their hands, shitty special effects and characters being incredibly portentous. Where it occurs here it's a lot more tangible and scrungy - mixing things in grubby jars, having to eat and drink questionable looking concoctions. It's exactly the sort of thing I look for and all too infrequently find in an occult film or show.

Finding Ted Lasso series 2 less enjoyable than the first, it's still good, but it's not quite as funny and everyone is so nice all the time it's beginning to feel a bit like an alt- universe of Stepford people.

Reading through the book series and that's pretty good as well. Different but each excellent in their own medium.

It’s really good. Worth investing time in if you like Sci Fi.

It's a slow starter though, I tried it once or twice and stopped, once I stuck with it for a few episodes I was completely sucked in. Now rewatched it twice (there's some great foreboding moments!), generally re-watch at least the previous season before a new one is actually released.

Just finishing up on Your Honor.

It's enjoyable but there are certain elements like the son whose character annoys me.

But Bryan Cranston's acting is another level. Worth watching just for his performance.

Few things that bother me beside having a civilian cop in a sub is the MOD Police wearing baseball caps not berets. The Navy don't have dogs so all the scenes of people walking about with dogs is a joke, also why put a Black Boss on a Trident Submarine, it is none
The only true part is they correctly highlight the fact that the Navy hierarchy actually think they are beyond the law and some type of royalty.

It’s a bit nerdy of my but they referred to diesel back-up propulsion when the reactor crashed. Don’t think they have that - or do they?

I watched the Ricky Gervaise series Derek over the weekend, suprisingly enjoyable. Gervaise is brilliant as the lead, very much reminded me of Afterlife which was superb.

I've quite enjoyed it but even with my complete lack of military background or knowledge I was a bit 'hmmmm, really?' about a number of things. But a bit of suspension of disbelief is always necessary.
