Both have beaten England in white ball form, I'd be interested to see how some of their squad manage at Test level.
How sad when beating England is a defined measure of success. For us beating England is just expected in nearly every sport except soccer. In fact I would hazard a guess Australia has a superior win/loss record against them in every major sport bar soccer. They aren't very good at sport and either are the Celts......inactionman wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 12:18 pmBoth have beaten England in white ball form, I'd be interested to see how some of their squad manage at Test level.
Australia could've done with beating England at the last couple of cricket world cups tbh. Pretty hefty losing record against us in the rugby in the pro era, too; the last decade hasn't been pretty.Deepsouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 9:33 pmHow sad when beating England is a defined measure of success. We have won 6 Cricket World Cups to Englands 2. We haveb 2 Rugby World Cups in the cabinet to your 1. But by all means you keep clutching to your pro era pearlsJM2K6 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 9:46 pmAustralia could've done with beating England at the last couple of cricket world cups tbh. I won't insult you by pretending I don't think that's impressive. Australia's sporting history is a proud one, and you have every right to look back at that era with your chest pumped out.Deepsouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 10:24 pmWe have won 6 Cricket World Cups to Englands 2. It probably takes the sting out of being England's playthings in the rugby and at the cricket world cups these days.
Yup and and that takes your tally of Cricket World Cups to 2 v 6 for Australia. Oh and we flogged you 4-0 earlier this year in real cricket...inactionman wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 10:29 pmEngland are the reigning T20 and 50 Over world champions.Deepsouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 9:33 pmHow sad when beating England is a defined measure of success.
