There's a Putin election advert and everything in it is Western far right talking points. It's a combination of the Russian state inventing all the bullshit culture war talking points, and Russia going with what the Western far right comes up with.

A lot of it originates in Russia. All the anti-gay and anti-trans stuff was pumped out by Putin before it existed in the West. Strangely a lot of Westerners are now losing their mind over this stuff, when not long ago they didn't care. It's also strange how climate is becoming a culture war issue, there was bipartisan agreement on it until recently, Russia has a vested interest in fossil fuel and is known to funnel cash to anti-green groups.

The SA stuff looks like Russia copying the Western far right. I'm not sure what it's all about, some sort of white American hysteria about becoming a minority maybe. I do know it's completely unrelated to how 90%+ of white South Africans see things.

In SA there was a small white far right that ended up being supported by almost no one. They moderated their views and tried to become more respectable to get more support. They've always avoided party politics and still do because they would fail and lose credibility. Which leaves a tiny white right wing that is as moderate as its supporters will allow, supported by maybe 5% of the white population. They tend to obsessively campaign on very narrow issues and make a lot of noise on social media, they've had some success in getting Western media attention, the same Western media which completely ignores the official opposition millions of people vote for including a super majority of the white population. The official opposition supports Ukraine.

Yesterday, a Pro-Russian demonstration took place in Köln, Germany. The small demonstration of around 40 cars was greeted by 2 counter demonstrations. It was a total flop for the (Pro-)Russian organizers. They hoped to reach at least 200 cars. The counter demonstrations were attracting more people.

Today, the German Special Police "SEK" (Sondereinsatzkommando) stormed the house of the organizers. It is suspected that they were hiding weapons of war.

Robotyne.
Last night I was informed by a source that Robotyne was liberated. Clarification this morning: it occured after 'a small battle at night at the checkpoint at the southern part'. This morning I received confirmation from a seperate source from the area. (Some Ru commentary say similar - see in link). Film illustrative but recent - likely from the east side of Robotyne.

Regarding our Mi-8, which disappeared a couple of weeks ago, I have the following information.
The crew, for some reason, lost their orientation and crossed the demarcation line. Perhaps there was a "radio play" on the part of the hohols, perhaps a navigation failure, and the cheap GPS devices have not been working there for a long time.
Attempts to restore orientation ended in vain. They saw the airfield from the air and landed on it. The airfield turned out to be the Poltava Ukraine airfield.
Realising where they landed, they made an attempt to take off, but were shot in a helicopter on the ground.
Flight engineer presumably dead, commander is wounded.
And I will ask all those who are adequate, until the opposite is proven, do not distribute any other versions, because there can be no other versions.
I perfectly imagine that the hohols are working hard with the commander now, so the hohols can show us any picture. We've already been through this.
I ask everyone who doesn't give a f*ck to help get the crew back.
We will raise money if necessary. We will also find hohols for exchange.

The Ukrainian General Staff has officially stated that Robotyne has been retaken.

There's a separate claim that Prigozhin was on board this plane and died ( Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency says - Kommersant ) BUT his last known whereabouts were claimed to be in Africa so I'd be sceptical about that for now until proven. It wouldn't exactly be shocking though if he died conveniently...in an "accident"...

There's an assumption that Putin did it - this could easily have been somebody in the Ministry of Defence settling a grudge.

Almost the ‘best’ - i.e. most splendidly ironic - scenario would be that Prigohzin’s plane was destroyed in a genuine accident but that his goons wouldn’t believe it and start attacking Putin’s people anyway.

For the inevitable assumption of assassination and murder that Putin’s created to bite him hard on the arse the only time he or some henchman didn’t order a killing would be excellent.

That's how I assumed it would happen, shooting a jet down isn't the usual form of targeted assassination.
