I not sure why you think that, he's shown no problems coming into line at midfield when playing 15. I prefer him at 15 myself, just because he the type of 15 I like at test level, perhaps a liitle more that Jordan. Not a biggie, and not knocking Will Jordan, just what I think is best for test at 15.
I'm not buying into that either. I'm guessing those stats are similar to Fickou.
We may very well see then, won't we?
I'm not suggesting JB is a 12: just that not for the lack of physicality reasons you cite. With his kicking game too, would he not be more like an old school, 2nd 5/8th?

I don't see a really tall, relatively slender 12 working that well in the cut and thrust of modern test rugby which promotes a fast rush defence and lots of heavy contact in the inside channels.

Acid test for The Blues on how far they've really come under Leon. This has to be match of Soup so far. Can' wait.

Yes. But pretty p*ssed at having paid for it, that it's now on Sky too. No app that I am aware of. Ironic because Sky Go is only an app..... and it's dogsh*te!

Why do sides do that. Zero gain option. Should just clear it 1st chance unless it's really on.

Great play from BB to create the half gap for Papali'i. He steps Richie Mo and scores with ease.

17 to 7 Blues after 32 minutes

Perofeta taps and goes thru a huge gap. Havilli tackles and strips the ball after the tackle. Yellow card

Perofeta missed a sitter - that's 6 easy points missed. 17 to 7 at half time

Contrasting styles here. Blues playing at a much higher pace whereas Saders trying to play a more structured game.... which is not working because as you say, Blues cutting the space and making the breakdown a mess.

I’m not watching the game, way out in the sticks right now…. But this is something of a trademark for Leon MacDonald. When the Blues nail it they do it this way. Rangi and Razor coaching the ABs would be a thing of beauty.

Red and game over.

Which is a pity because he's just ruined a great contest

{EDIT} Ironic since Saders' coaching team talking about the need to tackle lower at 1/2 time!

It's exactly the "tackle" which shows why 20 min red is nonsense.

Yep, he never looked at the ball, but he clearly had eyes for Hodgman's head. I hope he cops a long suspension.
