So happy with this performance
Defence has been outstanding.
France have broken the line, threatened and threatened but not got over the whitewash. Well done lads!

Any French composure has vanished now.
Tiredness / fitness plus the pressure of having to scoes 2 tries in 4 minutes...
Fitness has not been an issue outside of
- Atonio who can't walk more than 5m
- Ntamack who was too lazy to cover the backfield
BTW: Moefena is a waste of space too. Totally anonymous again.
Moefana has covered Penaud's wing all day. He made the tackles Penaud can't make...

France looking like the classic flawed French side not the terrifying force of the last three years. But thats mostly down to Irelands pack.
Only losing it since the Ringrose try. Up until then they were genuinely in the game.

Sure. I'd much rather France won.
Because you’re a cnut
Ha. Possibly, but that's not why I want France to win.

Enormous effort from the Irish as a collective. Constant structured pressure all over the park, simply kept closing the French down.

Better they figure this out now than in 8 months time.
Unlike Eddie Jones it really is all about the world cup. Great game to watch

Ireland a deserved number one in the world right now. Fitness, rugby IQ and coaching....they have it all.
France no shabby side and today they were made to look ordinary. The entire match France seemed to be in a scramble.
Well done Ireland.

Pretty average second half tbh.
Game ruined by Barnes.
However well deserved win which would have been much more of the red was given.

Phew! And i didn’t even have a dog in that fight. Great game. High intensity. Any mistakes were only noticeable because the scarcity of them. Ireland also have a full squad not just a team.
Could be a bit different on French soil but this Irish team would have demolished England. …..

What is truly impressive by Ireland is the control over the game except for maybe 10-15min in the second half.
Keenan has been outstanding.

Nah. Penaud did well in defence today and saved one try from one of Ntamack's f**k ups. All the back 5 did stuff in offence (even Ramos amid his nightmare stuff) except Moefana. The lad has a fistful of caps now and has been invisible in all of them. Granted he played on the wing before but he got his preferred position and looked sh*t even against Italy.

Now THAT was a statement. Depth. Need to be more clinical -brill that there’s clear room for improvement - held up three times as as much an attacking weakness to be worked on as it was some excellent French defence , Baille especially. Bloody loved that.
