Bit of rotation but it's still a decent looking team on paper. The team two weeks ago had Sordoni and Bean starting in the pack and this is a much better lineup.
Last week I thought Big Richie had his best game in a Glasgow shirt since coming back.

So, still no recognised goal kicker.
With Vellacott starting it looks like we will be looking to play more to Edinburgh's quick game. Big Bill Mata is a huge loss, Haining is a hard carrier, but Bill is a bit special.
Muncaster is going to be very good in a year or two.
We're away to the champions, on paper we will do well to come away with a couple of points, but the optimist in me is hoping for more.
Kinghorn may not be a first choice goal kicker but he's a better option than we had on the pitch last week.
I'm disappointed not to see Big Bill, I wonder if they are easing him back into it after that long lay off?
I'd have preferred taking Muncaster out over Haining and starting hum this weekend with Haining on the bench. Much more confident with Kinghorn starting and, hopefully, kicking.
In Cyprus and might actually try to find a bar to watch this.

Expat bars might have a dodgy satellite feed with Premier Sports. The problem would be persuading them to play it instead of the football.

Wet night in Cardiff and Lions are playing the conditions reasonably well. Cardiff will be well disappointed they didn't turn territory into points in the first half.

Cardiff will probably be more disappointed that they played like absolute donkeys in the second half. There's some good players in that team but that was poor.

Rooibontes! Solid win away from home. Some might refer to the unfancied Lions as operating under the radar. I call it stealth.

That was a smart and disciplined performance. Cardiff, with their playing squad, should have offered more though.

Lions was very good. Playing with confidence. Flintstone and Lombard giving direction but their first half defense probably win it for them. Mossie coaching.

Well done Bulls. But they really took their foot off the gas after 30 minutes. Goosen was awful, I hope he gets better with game time.
And very well done to the Lions. I really like the look of their team, some great young talent.
But both games were so hard to watch. I'm not sure if its the officiating, but they just never seemed to get going. No rhythm at all. Neither are good adverts for the game.

Seen a few with prem sports. Not sure what football is on at that time though. It's recorded if I don't.

Zakkie Burger was very good. He surely improve a lot since joining the Bulls.

Leinster already looking ominous this year.
Ulster had enough possession to do more but were very wasteful. That McCloskey turnover towards the end is why he won't be anywhere near the Irish team barring a load of injuries.

Ulster have nine lads down with the Emerging squad in SA, which is great for them, but not so great for Ulster.

That's what happens when refs get stick after matches. They become more strict to minimize criticism.

Utter pish in the second half from Edinburgh.

Excellent bonus point win Welcome Hartzenberg. SA u20 nr 12.
Stormers defense winning this one for them.
Hard luck to Embra. Very good pack and difficult to beat. Thought the heat got to them in the last quarter.
