It's exactly the "tackle" which shows why 20 min red is nonsense.
Why? He’s off for the match, and will probably be cited.
Because Saders still get back to 15
Well that’s the wrong sort of logic, and the reason it was changed. It’s exactly why it’s there in the first place.

Consistent and lesser damage to the team. An identical outcome for the player.

You'll think this is crazy, but what if a side starts with a dummy player who deliberately targets the opponents' best player straight up? Red and 20 mins but dummy goes off for a much better player whilst opponents lose their best player for the entirety of the match.

Yeah, that’s crazy.

Then again… the NH did give us bloodgate. I guess there are differing ways of playing the game.

Good game. I thought we were out of it after the red and then the score against. But the saders came flying back at end but couldn’t quite do it. Great defence by the blues

Once again, the much hyped Fainga'anuku wasn't much of a factor.

This game is the example why the 20 min red card should be introduce. The NH farts against it obviously don't watch this. It gave the Saders a chance to win it.

They launched their comeback, scored 8 points, and started scaring the Blues and putting them on the back foot while still down to 14. They only scored 5 points when back up to 15. Perhaps if they'd stayed at 14 they'd have won...

The kiwis pioneered cutting to cover up fake blood injuries.
“In the third place play-off game against the Springboks in Cardiff I was pulled off at half-time which I saw as a sign I’d lost the coaches’ confidence,” Umaga wrote. “John Mayhew, the team doctor, wanted to cut me around the eye so, technically, it would be a blood bin. I wanted to know what was wrong with the old ‘blood on the towel’ trick, but he said the officials would need to see a cut.”
