The French teams are a bit like South African teams, do not travel well outside their own country borders.

Lions do suffer from periods of headless chicken rugby in just about every game they play where they let teams get back into games. If they can show more composure for the majority of their games they would have a few more wins.

I'll be watching Bordeaux - Sharks instead. Normally try to support the Prem teams by watching their matches, but that one promises to be a one-sided slaughter.

In the lead up to the Glasgow game they’ve said that the Pau coach was handed a 10 week ban, quite what that means I don’t know – he can’t coach the team for that period?
How is it checked?

John Barclay and Ryan Wilson say that 10 weeks is a joke, it should be much longer.

Well, yes. It's been quite some time since they and London Scottish were formed with the express intent of creating a home for expat rugby players from Ireland and Scotland.

The more current nickname is Exiles as they've often been a club with a fair old mix of nationalities.

In rugby and football I've never had the pleasure of supporting a team that wins all the time.

Does it not get a bit boring and difficult to get excited ahead of a game being a Leinster fan? Fun to watch and great skills on show for sure, but lacking in the drama department.

Watching Ulster play is great drama as they will always endeavour to fuck things up from a winning position. Apart from last week when they forgot their lines and fucked things up from kickoff :lolno:

I'm old enough to remember when it was a pleasant surprise to see Leinster players being picked for Ireland

I still look at Leinster, & wonder if it's the same team I used to go to the leaky sheds in Donnybrook to see pumped by Welsh sides !

It was not a red card because the player landed on his lower back. So was not deemed dangerous enough for red.
