Roos is also out for the season, Dayimani is off to France...
Is that official? I know he's getting his shoulder checked out, but I haven't seen anything official regarding surgery or a season-long recovery being needed.
Dayimani I read about offers from Racing 92 and from Japan, but also nothing final there yet either. Did I miss it?

It's great for South African rugby if Kolisi is back, regardless of the commercials behind it. We need our captain local.
I'm happy to have him back at the Sharks, and accept that he'll only play half the season if we're lucky. So still plenty of opportunities for other 6s to push for the jersey.

It's clear Sascha is our no. 10 going forward. There is just no place for Libbok. Sorry ouboet I know you are disappointed. We are finally settled in that position with Pollard on the bench.
Our forwards are locked in. Except maybe Moerat who is clearly there for transformation targets. Our backline is pretty settled too. Nothing to add there.
Some impressive tactical play. Clearly the coaching staff are preparing the boys efficiently

Players like Am, Fassi, Libbok, Mapimpi, vd Berg, Thomas du Toit, Grobbies, Moerat, Nortje, Jan Hendrik Wessels need to get game time.

Only watched the australia game now. Couple of players deserve mentioning. Was really impressed with SFM. Pure class and hopefully our way forward. Elrigh Louw was great, carried well and really put his hand up for the no 8 jersey i thought. BJD tackled like a machine, as expected. And PSdT at 5 was outstanding, best player on the pitch. KLA try scoring machine. Looking forward to next week and probably some changes

That first half was one of the best halves of rugby I've ever seen the Boks play. Just utterly dominant. Everyone just played so well.
It's a pity we took our foot off the gas in the second half, but it's hard to keep up that level of intensity.

Shame our discipline badly faded towards the end as well. I don't think the Wallabies would have scored against us with 15 players on the field. I hope Rassie keeps them grounded though, that was not a very good Wallabies side by any stretch of the imagination. And they'll have to back that performance up again this weekend, I don't think we have ever had back-to-back victories in Australia.

No....obviously you cannot compare Australia with Ireland and New Zealand......thats just dumb.
They tried to work out our back 3 but really did execute very poorly.
We were playing with them eventually....Rassie trying to elevate Kolbie's value with multiple posistions.
Me I would prefer to see KLA and and Moody against the stronger sides with better structure and coaching.

He has been very impressive since Am's injury last year. Am will be wanting that jersey back, I hope he stays injury free this year.

Dont think so, he got Am now. Regarding Jesse Kriel I was surprise to see his Granny lives in my neighbor Bredasdorp.

Definitely....our back 3 were found out against Ireland in that last match....don't think they recovered a single high ball

You're not wrong. Faf, Reinach, Herschel & Hendrikse have all faded badly from their former highs. VD Berg and Papier aren't Test standard.
Williams looked sharp in the 2nd half, but he's always injured.

Am and Kriel are both 30, so while that is good and they both maybe have another World Cup in them, it's also bad as both are going to retire around the same time (if they don't get unexpected career ending injuries). That means will will have a massive hole at 13, unless we build a succession pipeline. Moodie is 21 now and smart. If anybody can grow into the next 13 for the Boks it's him. Who else under 30 is putting up their hand at 13 right now?

An exciting prospect on attack for sure, but unproven in adopting the Boks' Nienaber defence system.
The read by the 13 is critical for it to work.
