absolute crap from Edinburgh, no accuracy, some good stuff and then we cough up simple penalties for getting the carrier isolated. Basics.

I know there is a strong wind, but that was poor from us.

Lions attack improved when Nohamba sped up his distribution a bit, still very side to side and hope for some individual skill though. They should consider moving Coetzee to 10 this season.

Just don't seem to do much in the opposition 22 despite the good play elsewhere.

Cowtzee has been fantastic. Lions physicality on defense has been very good.

I'm so glad Connacht picked up Hawkshaw from Leinster !!!

and equally baffled they let him go, because he's going to be as good as Henshaw

Both are in for a bit of a hiding, I think.
I don't know. Both teams seem to always lift against tough opposition. I certainly wouldn't bet against either.

Nice watching a young SA team play without fear and doing well.

Thought it was a mistake to take Nohamba off on 55 minutes, his replacement wasn't as good, and at 9/10 only really Nohamba was trying to direct play. The Lions will improve a lot if they get a better 10 to direct them around the park.

Van Wyk the Lions best players.

Missed the last 5 minutes live because, barking dogs (en oppie plaas gaan luister jy) and a mother of a puffadder on the stoep, aggro as hell (paste tense must have been hungry).

All in all. Not bad Lions. Now either the Sharks or Someones’s laaitie must win a cricket match before it could be called a successful weekend.

Hmmmm I can see where you going.

Gianni Lombaard do a lot of work on defense and is a different kind of 10. I have always like his type 10. Credit also to Marius Louw. The Lions backline broke Embra's defense at will tonight.

Selecting 10’s on their particular skillsets makes sense, Not sure how I feel about selecting my flyhalf based on the ground to be played on and how good his last surgeon was.
