Well done Wales. Good to keep the solid NH weekend rolling.

While it wasn't the greatest game ever, I watched the Lions games so I am reminded it could have been much, much worse.

Congrats to Wales. We lost it at 9. AE Hendricks, Thomas du Toit , the next Beast who can't scrum, Fassi 0 rating.

I don''t think it helps blooding so many at once. Ideally you would do 1 or 2 at a time.

Congratulations Wales.

Jesus Christ we were poor today.

Most of debutants did very well. Arendse and Roos were solid, Fourie made an immediate impact when he came on.
Mchunu was fine. Was always going to be a touch debut for him. Nortje also okay I guess.

Among the seniors, Etzebeth was having a good match until he started giving away stupid penalties.
Coetzee didn't do much wrong, but also didn't have a huge impact either.
Tank was good also.
Marx was a nuisance and at least got the lineouts back on track.
Elstadt had a good workrate and put in some good hits.
That's about it.

The rest? Oh boy.

Pollard never led from the front. Didn't play like a 10 either. You can see he's been playing 12 in France.
PSdT way off the pace...passenger.
Orie, anonymous.
Dweba disappointing at lineout time. Cost us momentum.
Nyakane struggled.
Hendrikse followed the gameplan, but was too slow.
Esterhuizen showed nothing.
Kriel, still useless in a Bok jersey.
Fassi was sliding off every tackle.
Galant not in the game at all. Willie's 15 jersey is safe for a while still.
Vincent Koch...that drop will haunt him for years to come.

In retrospect I can't believe how hyped I was to see how this team would do today.
What a massive disappointment.

At least the series is alive going into the final test. Silver lining I guess.

You lot got the field position you wanted after the dropped ball in our 22 . Brilliant play to get the ball wide and expose our defense.

He didn't knock it on doos, he kicked it out on the 10m. Then the next Beast walk around in the scrum , penalty and then the try.

Gonna cost us in the rankings. Thankfully NZ also lost a home game against a lower ranked team, otherwise I think they would have passed us. But we are going to drop a couple of points.

In my book France is the team to beat in the WC.

See what happens when a good ref turns up, all to play for next week, I wonder if he brings back the troops still.

Missed the match - load shedding. The little I could see on my phone indicated a Bok side unable to move the ball, pressured in the scrum.

Time for Rassie to return...

Rassie is part of the current coaching team.

Today was a very good exercise. Pretty sure they will learn from this. Players and coaches.

Next week we will see the real Springboks in Cape Town.

Dead rubber we may have to start with a prop who has only ever started 1 pro game. We are decimated by injuries. We won today and were moral victors last week.
I expect a sound thrashing now next week.

You are right about one thing. SA took the p*ss with all those changes and got exactly what they deserved.
