Would be a travesty if Ireland got a BP win from here. They've been mediocre at best. Says a lot about England tbf.
They had one chalked off for unnecessary stupidity already.

Smith has played his way out I reckon
He's not shone this game for sure.
Murley just made another awful decision in defense

Bizarre by Murley, whose head has really gone this half. Should've been subbed already but the bench setup means we simply couldn't

Oh for fucks sake England. Dan and Willis both go for the same guy, Conan goes through the gap, Fin half misses the tackle, Freeman misses Lowe out wide, then the Smiths can't stop the inside man

Okay, to post seriously for a second: Marcus had a pretty good first half and an average second, but isn't exactly to blame for the meltdown. I don't think Slick was being serious for a second about him playing himself out of the Lions, and it's funny to consider today's matches in terms of Lions 10s given the clear #1 option was absolutely dreadful.
And it was genuinely a superb take in the air!
He's absolutely not a fullback, mind.

I agree. I actually like Smith and think he could be incredibly well suited for the Lions.
In terms of the Lions, I don't think any of the stand offs have played well today so we are probably not any further forward.
