Have to say, Skinner and GG have made a nice wee combo over the last couple of internationals.

Stuck at work here. I see we now have the slightly iffy front row on.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Australia have two tightheads out with brain injuries and their loosehead playing TH and getting minced so it's fine.

Yeah, I see that our iffy front row just won a scrum penalty!

Well, I don’t give a shite how bad the game was. I’ll take a win against an RC side all day long :)

Agree! Poor game but good win.

The good thing is Finn Russell can't possibly play this bad again can he?

And Hogg, who at this time is barely worth his spot.

Fagerson could get a ban for the fracas with Hooper where his fingers were close to eyes. We need to do something.

Bat signal to Nel and just let him scrum.

Easy to forget how many we are missing in the tight 5. Arguable.half the starting pack, plus a TH on the bench.

Played pish but I think his captaincy is terrific.

I think we'll see Steyn get a start over Graham next week.

I want to see McLean. Those big bokkies won't want to tackle him.

Wouldn't mind that. Thinking about it again, we might get Maitland.

Toony is going to have to come up with some mad game plan next week and we are going to have to execute it perfectly

It’s weird. Not that long ago we were pretty rubbish and Hogg was the only bright spark. It seems now that the better the rest of the team gets, the more his form declines.

I haven’t seen the game yet, though

You can see the mistakes stem from him trying to hard. Always looking for the spectacular play.

Thinking of excuses for the lads, seeing as they won and all that.

I wonder if some decisions were influenced by being infront of a full Murrayfield for the first time in a long time had to do with the over excitement such as Graham's tap and go.

Beat a SH side and most of the comments are negative.

We’re a substantially better side than we used to be. I’ll take that win any day of the week.

It's actually a sign of progress that the side have made that we can be unhappy with aspects of a win v a SH team.

Pretty much. We now have 3 wins on the bounce v Australia. Sometimes I have to remind myself that we went about 20 years without a single win v a SH side.

I forgotten how miserable some of youse cunts can be

Anyway, strange atmosphere at the game and a pretty tedious stop start affair - the woman behind me was at her first match and complained a couple of times that she didn’t realise rugby was so slow, that’s an indictment on the game at the moment really.

Anyway, ultimately, completely agree with Biffer. We are in the middle of a golden age and the fact we are a bit moany about beating Australia says a lot about the progress we are making.

In saying that, still very frustrating at times although I honestly never thought we would lose.

Hogg had a stinker but some of the comments wanting him out are hilariously over the top. Finn just seemed to be Finn, Johnson had a couple of uncharacteristic bad decisions. Overall it seemed like a few cobwebs needed blown away.

With a close to first choice pack I think we could turn over SA, without that I think it will still be close, we look like a team that can be confident against anyone

Springbok pack is a thing of a beaut. If you can contain it you have a big chance.

WTF are you cunts on? I'm not going to pretend that was a faultless display but that was a good game all in. Even in beating one of the top teams in the world some of you are trying to be as negative as possible.
