I had considered that it was the catch that Root took and didn't claim or celebrate but dismissed it on the basis that nobody would be stupid enough to make it Root claimed it. Once again, I have overestimated Australia's Special Forces.

This is something that happens frequently in cricket and is exactly how it should be, much better than players enthusiastically claiming catches they have doubt about. Seems to have stopped now, and does seem to be slowly moving away - but a lot of rain overnight so plenty of mopping up work needed. That said, the forecast is very poor...
