Vets are probably 100% qualified at least in all the medical areas - they deliver thousands more vaccinations a year than any human medic

The trust would accept vacarious liability atm and most health care rwgulators atm like the nmc have special measures in place to cover extended roles during Covid.

By law at the moment, yes. Even with the trust accepting various liabilities as C69 outlined, something needs to change to get away with what you'be just outlined. And it would need to be fully documented, assessed etc to stand up to the legal case when something went wrong that wasn't really related.
I know it sounds like a lot of red tape, but this is the sort of stuff that helps provide confidence in the system for the general public

As you say; it's all happening in the structures of a health service that is administering millions of vaccinations every year, so there's a structure that's developed, & keeping peoples faith in that is important.

Yes. We don’t have community transmission here currently (touch wood) so the only cases we are picking up are recent returnees in Government quarantine.

India grants a limited emergency use approval to Bharat Biotech's vaccine.
This is much closer to traditional vaccines, being an inactivated (I.e. dead) Covid various vaccine.
Controversial as their stage 3 trial is incomplete. They have data from 10,000 volunteer with a single shot and 10,000 with a dual shot, but the thresholds have not been met

New polling by YouGov asked citizens from countries across the world how they think their government has faired.
People polled included the UK, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia, Canada, Mexico, America, Spain and France.
And whilst many countries believed their government and political leaders had handled the pandemic well, a number of countries thought theirs had not.
The UK's response came joint bottom alongside Mexico, both with minus 15 points.
