I find the reaction of the fox news cult worshipers quite hilarious. You can just imagine their 180% reaction if something like this happened to any of the Bidens or Hillary, etc

Virtual pint that he doesn't.
He'll most likely never see the inside of a prison cell on this conviction, but baby steps and all that.

The classified docs trial still to come, which looks an order of scale more serious - although I still can't see him going to chokey

GitMo is lovely this time of year !

I think the worst cast for the Traitor is he gets to spend maybe a month in gaol surrounded by the Secret Service, & then he gets released to home confinement for the remainder.

It's very hard for the Judge to not sentence an unrepentant convicted felon, who has repeatedly threatened members of the Court & Law Enforcement, to some prison time.

US laws are baffling, Bannon still hasn't been jailed even after losing his appeal.

I'm assuming Von Shitznpants won't see jail as he's launched an appeal, or am I wrong? If on July 11th, he gets a custodial sentence, can he just stay out due to his appeal?

Just a few hours after the verdict Biden has given Ukraine permission to use US weapons for strikes inside Russia.

The war is being escalated, on purpose.

The day isn't too far away when you will realise you've been cheering for the wrong side.

He won't get a custodial sentence. The crime in NY coupled with his lack of previous convictions will mean he won't get prison time. He will have to go through pre-sentencing reports and precedents have already been set.

He's going to get a fine.

Russia accuses White House of 'eliminating' rivals

There's been some reaction coming out of Moscow to Donald Trump's conviction.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says the Trump conviction shows the White House is "eliminating its political rivals by all possible legal and illegal means".

It's definitely ironic, however, The Dems are acting like China, Russia, NK, etc....

I think that's pretty undeniable at this stage - the crazy thing to me is that we have grown ass, intelligent men on this forum cheerleading this behaviour.

I would suggest that there is no doubt that there was a political influence in bringing forth this trial.
However it's America and these things happen.

Everything that's happening to him is completely self-inflicted.

If he didn't cadge campaign cash off gullible punters to deal with his personal troubles, then he wouldn't have been up in court.

If he didn't keep slandering someone he's in all likelihood assaulted, then he wouldn't have been sued.

I've little sympathy, and I don't really care what drove his prosecution or civil litigation.

You'd have thought, knowing that political opponents could use dirt against him, he'd at least make the slightest of efforts to stay clean.

Just to clarify..

This case was about falsifying business records, which is an offence.

If the orange shitgibbon had paid Stormy out of his own pocket, there would be no case. Full stop.

But no, tight arsed Von Shitznpants paid her out of campaign funds, through his then fixer and lawyer, and tried to cover up the fact that he'd albeit briefly shoved his mushroom in a well oiled clunge, whilst his current wife was at home with his newly born child, then tried to stiff (fnaar, fnaar, he'd failed at that) Stormy outta the money hed promised to pay, dragging it on. Then he's tried to claim his lawyer paid 130, 000 out of his own pocket as, well, what? Felt like it?...Nah, greedy little Donny had to pay her with the money hed grifted outta his gullible rubes..not his own shallow pocket...he's been proved to micromanage every payment, he'd told his accountant to never pay the full amount as he'd rather stiff someone and tell them to due him for the full amount, he's had thousands of court cases through his life, and now DAC wants us to believe he's been wrongly convicted...give me a fucking break....

Strangely enough, I don't even care whether he goes to jail or not. Just seeing him found guilty and knowing he will forever bear the label of a convicted former President is sufficient.

Here is a preliminary list of countries that refuse entry to convicted felons. Be tough for a President to do his job if he could not visit all these countries.

Argentina
Australia
Canada
China
Cuba
India
Iran
Israel
Japan
Kenya
Macau
New Zealand
South Africa
Taiwan

I forgot about that! As seen on Border Security people denied entry to Canada on even minor conviction, and pretty sure there was a NZ Maori who wasn't allowed to play here ... oh, it was three: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/canada-re ... HQXXJZZQ4/

And the CBC explains how he could, in theory, get an exception as there's a G7 summit here next year! (I mean, ideally he loses the election spectacularly, but...)

Very odd he's not banged up ahead of his trial for stealing national security docs. As a norm you'd be in jail, jail or jail. The rules don't apply, still

Its also a criminal offence to share Secret information with a convicted Felon, so the WH will now stop sharing this with him, as by convention they do with all candidates. So that's Putins information channel cut !

Even Faux News occasionally has to face reality.
Trump verdict makes significant number of Republicans less likely to support him: poll

A Reuters/Ipsos survey of registered voters shows what Americans think about Donald Trump's guilty verdict

A new poll conducted immediately following former President Trump's criminal conviction in New York found a significant number of Republicans say they are less likely to vote for him in November.

One in 10 registered GOP voters said Trump's felony conviction for falsifying business records would make them less likely to support him for president, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll that closed on Friday. The two-day poll was conducted hours after a jury in Manhattan on Thursday found Trump guilty on all counts brought against him by District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The poll also found that a majority of Republican voters, 56%, said the outcome of the case would have no effect on their vote and 35% said they were even more likely to support Trump, who maintains his innocence
