We were all calling for a settled set of loosies, let a combination develop. Sotutu has been the casualty of that I think. He's got time on his side. He'll get his chances again. They might prefer him as sub against the Boks too I'm wondering and playing Ethan now vs. the Wobs in a horses for courses vein.
Hmmm.. just wondering if the coaches don't have one eye on what they're going to do when Cane comes back. Ethan has more utility value for the place holder in the squad as opposed to be expected to start and Sotutu may be the one for the chop going forward.
Yep, things will get really interesting once Cane's back. We could have Papalii, Sotutu, Ethan, Luke and Frizell (?) all fighting for just one bench spot. A good problem for the selectors to have.

And that's not including Robinson. Who, if I were a NH scout, I'd be waving the cheque book at right now. He'd be a tremendous buy at any price.

Yep, he's another top prospect - probably unlucky not to be called up yet. I also rate young Flanders as one for the future.

Game day. Feels like an age since the last test.
Nothing beats sunny afternoon test footy, but still pretty nervous given the *spit* venue.

3PM kick off here, an ideal time, giving me plenty of time to mow the lawns before the game. I am quietly confident that the ABs will do the business.

Yes, finally some footie again!
Myself, I’m not confident.
We have our red card machine in Scooter starting
BB is steering our ship today.
We don’t have our (100%) 2021 captain today.
No Snecky, who has been at his best
Away in a dangerous ground

Yep, we're vulnerable all right. The absence of Smith, Mo'unga and Whitelock must have the Wallabies licking their lips. Hopefully Weber gets well protected coz if they knock him off his game early we'll be in big trouble. Will be watching the loosies closely. Papalii in particular still has a bit to prove on defence, imo.

I'm more worried about the Wobs turning up this time round. They'll have had a look at the AB's game plan with the current squad. Worked on the things that went wrong for them... if they cut out the silly mistakes they'll be right in this.

They're a good side on the up. They could dick any other team in the world on their day, I reckon. Let's hope today's not that day.

Imagine how exciting their Super Rugby competition is going to be. May as well just hand the trophy to the Kiwi sides for the next 20 years.

Aussie scrummie taking too long at the base. Same issue we have with our 9s. The AB's clear as quickly as possible leaving minimal time for opp to set the defence.

Wonder if that will get the Wallabies into the match?
Vs 14 for 52 mins. Won’t get a better opportunity than that against the ABs.

Only 20 minutes
Then another player comes on, if I have the rules right.
