Not at all. Boer seun van George. The best start in the backyard, bullied by the older broer. Making them mentally tough.

He might be from George, but is no longer a boerseun. He is a Scot.

Interesting move. Seems like there is lots of drama involved too. Toulouse not happy with how long Kolbe had to be released to the Boks or something like that.
It's a pity. That Toulouse team played some amazing rugby. Hope he is just as successful and happy at Toulon.

Yes that must have been quite a big deal, although I assume Kolbe's agent would protect him from the drama.

It was great seeing him play in the same team as Du Pont and Ntamack but all good things come to an end. He'll certainly be in good company at Toulon, plenty of class there.

Where the fok would you tarks pick him? You have enough young talent on wing and fullback.

For the sake of completeness you lot might want to know that Northampton have picked up Cortnall Skosan.

Seems an odd one considering their issues are more in the pack than the backline, but I remember him being fairly handy for the Lions when Akkerman had them competing at the top end.

I can only think they signed him because he was cheap.

Not much more than a Super Rugby level player, but good at finishing off. Not the most memorable player ever, but he'll score a few points for the Saints I'm sure.

Lets pray that this is true.
The Sards meltdown and then flip flop will be huge.

Gents, Green and Esterhuizen were brilliant for Quins tonight. Just thought you'd like to know.

Just like last season. I'm sure Quins are looking forward to getting Louw back after his 4 month rest with the Boks.

They go up on the Premiership site pretty quickly, along with full games.

If you have the time I'd recommend the full game, it was really fun and there's a bunch of moments that the highlights don't have, because they only show scores, like a turnover Green made close to the Quins line.

Thanks a lot for the links
Always try and find the highlights on youtube (what is that weird PC game highlights crap btw) and couldn’t find it today

Cheers. Quins have quite the potent backline with Marcus Smith, Lynagh, Esterhuizen, Tyrone Green...

I'd really like to see Tyrone Green brought into the Bok setup. He reminds me a little of Ben Smith. Great compact footballer with a real good rugby IQ. He'll no doubt be learning a lot against the tough oppo in the Premiership.

Green is such a talented player. He never stood a chance here for a meaningful contract because of SARU

Esterhuizen was outstanding. He was never loved much in South Africa. Glad to see him appreciated. Was a huge huge loss for the Sharks....we have never replaced him

I don't know why Sandy says he never passes. Does she actually watch the rugby

I don’t watch Premiership matches.

I guess Sale don’t rate these two as loosies:

“ Cobus Wiese makes his return to action in the second-row and partners compatriot Jean-Luc du Preez at lock for the first time this season.”

South African flanks are the same height as English locks.

Esterhuizen is the best South African no.12 playing right now. He is a hand in all of Quins tries in this highlights package against Bristol. His breakdown work, passing and support play is top notch. He has to be brought into the Bok setup. Tyrone Greene too.

Alec Dombrandt is a freak and the best no. 8 in the world at the moment.

Rumours are going around of Pollard to Leicester.

Possibly? If he was chasing the money he'd be off to Japan.
