Appalling tackle. He literally had him wrapped with both arms and still let him through.
I really don’t understand how he failed to complete that tackle !!

Great comeback by the Boks to close out the half, but still a lot of work to do.
The All Blacks came to play.

Boks will be quite happy only being five down after that first half.

All one hoped for was a scintillating game and that the ABs would show something.
Achieved.
15-10 ABs at the break.

When you consider his physique, not having the arm strength to complete it is pretty poor.

Certainly an upgrade from last week by the ABs

As always when the boks are heavy facourites they do not seem to have their minds in the game. Specially against the AB's you cannot play below 100%. Though i do think the ref let the AB's off on a few things early in the game. Hopefully the boks cone out the 2nd half with at least the same intensity as the last 5 minutes. They will need it. The AB's realky are yp for this not to lose another game.

Willie making a huge difference in the backline. He pops up everywhere. Our 6 2 split is a huge concern

Boks defense the difference. Need to step up otherwise it's going to be a long afternoon.

I don't understand why Am was shifted to the wing. It's clear as day that that is a huge part of the problem. We need him at 13.

Correct decision. Unfortunately circumstance. That might end up being a critical momentum shift.

Nonsense. You see that 99% of the time as part of time wasting. Doesn't justify the hit.

He picked it up as the whistle was blown, and couldn't know from his angle if it was for them or against. It was completely daft by Weise.

I'm not sure Whitelock would've made the tackle, but he has to have the opportunity to fail.
Shame, because it was all class from Am.

I’ve seen much worse obstructions not given. Thought Am was far enough away from Whitelock for that to be ignored.
But Mapimpi scores anyway.
