SupeRugby 2024...
And Clarke's suddenly scoring tries for fun. World's gone mad.Kiwias wrote: Sat Jun 22, 2024 8:36 am The worst thing to come out of this game is that Christie will probably be named in the ABs, along with the "how-many-chances-has-he-fucking-had" Tuipulotu.

The coaches have been working on their own selected teams for months now and having to argue the merits of their choices. One good game isn't going to change how they view those selections.Kiwias wrote: Sat Jun 22, 2024 8:36 am The worst thing to come out of this game is that Christie will probably be named in the ABs, along with the "how-many-chances-has-he-fucking-had" Tuipulotu.
Got in in time for the second half... pretty damned clinical from the Blues. They thoroughly deserve the win and the trophy.
Here's a smoky... Plummer for the ABs 10 jersey.
NZ Herald reporting that Ardie Savea is signing with Moana Pasifika. If true, I think it would be a great move - hugely beneficial to MP of course, but also guaranteeing that young Canes loosies like Lakau and Iose will continue to get plenty of valuable game time.

Who saw James O’Connor signing with the Crusaders coming?
A good mate living in Nelson, naturally a Crusaders fan, said this "what is wrong with Parata from Mako who used to play in Force or Grant Cooper, a U20 rep and debuted at Mako this year. He should be introducing them into the Crusaders rather than O'Connor."Guy Smiley wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2024 12:04 am Who saw James O’Connor signing with the Crusaders coming?
I agree and am not happy with Penny.

I think it’s unfair to lay blame on Penney alone if blame is to be apportioned… he wouldn’t be the sole decision maker with regard to recruiting. The Crusaders is too professional an outfit to run things off one desk.
I see it as somewhat similar to the Halfpenny deal last year (perhaps it’ll work just as well as that
) in that bringing in an experienced player who can cover a number of spots allows the younger players some support in their development. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad move… just a curious one.

Halfpenny did cross my mind. Fair point about it probably not being down to Penny solely and yes, it is a curious move.Guy Smiley wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2024 8:38 am I think it’s unfair to lay blame on Penney alone if blame is to be apportioned… he wouldn’t be the sole decision maker with regard to recruiting.
