No, but the diffrrence is that with Hetbst it was an exception, Farrell it is the rule..hence no outrage...if he was a habitual offender a la Farrell then of course he deserves the same criticism.

Northmore/Beard is not a good combo. It really diminishes Northmore's abilities which are far better suited to 13.

Good to see Quins regaining some confidence in real time, especially after a shaky start. Glorious 50-22 from Smith, who's really been pushing his kicks for extra distance, and a lovely stop and go that eventually led to Care's try. Dombrandt was pretty good in defeat to Racing and worked his socks off, deserves to cash in here. A bit more composure in the second half, and getting CCS off in favour of someone who isn't wearing giant foam Hulk fists for hands (ie Kenningham) and this could be a very restorative win.

Stormers have given it a go. Last season that would definitely be risking a red from Herbst and there have been a few marginal knock on calls against them, but they've stuck at it.

Not often you see a side box kick and regather 4 times in a row, and a few cracking kicks from Smith end up putting Stormers under too much pressure, they hand over possession, and that's Dombrandt's hattrick. Lovely stuff.

All credit to Harlequins, they gave the Stormers a rugby lesson. I thought Moerat was good. From the bench JC Mars and Jonathan Roche show they should started. Our Brrgie props stood tall in the scrums but made some primary school mistakes.

Great night out at The Stoop. It’s a lovely stadium and the Quins fans are top drawer. Stormers D team are basically U13 quality.

Just back in so had to go through Bernol commentary on this and shocked (and disappointed) to see it was Macalou.

Arguably the most talented rugby player of this generation in France and he's gradually wasting his career (not all of his own fault tbf). He grew up and played at the same club (Sarcelles) as my cousin's kids (same tiny club that produced Slimani & Cancoriet). He's defo a product of the Banlieues with the commensurate chips to go with it. He's also been p*ssed off at his lack of game time: no excuse for this stuff.
