Will fans be allowed in the stadiums for the tests?

They should allow vaccinated 5000 Lions fans in. Vaccinate 5000 Bok fans. To be determined by lottery. All stadium and support staff and vaccinated.

I've heard they are pushing for 50% capacity.

All depend on this
The current vaccines will offer protection against severe cases of the variant found in India. But not necessarily the mild cases.
That's according to Professor Shabir Madhi, who says avoiding mass gatherings remains the single most important measure of protection against all variants.
Madhi spoke to eNCA's Dan Moyane earlier after news that at least four people in Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal tested positive with the variant.
"This particular variant from India shares a mutation similar to one found in the ione SA variant, which makes these viruses relatively resistant to the immune responses," he said.

Not outside the realms of possibility. Especially of either Squad tests positive at some point in the tour.

They are going to have to be EXTREMELY careful with their respective bubbles.

Do you blame them. Put the shoe on the other foot.
You know I got very angry when we showed them the middle finger. It was terrible how we handled it. Years of throwing our toys out the cot and threatening to leave. Then leaving them high and dry telling them to vokof.
And everyone laughed and was happy to be able to do that. It was very short sighted and look where we are now .
Playing local derbies against poor quality sides thinking we are God's amongst men.

Sharks and Bulls never had issues playing against the Kiwi sides. We gave as much as we took. Its the other unions that were getting tired of being butt vokked week in and week out. Why do you think those two teams are growing and leaving the rest behind.

Vok our administration and those petty supporters who felt good about leaving the Kiwis. I would rather play the Kiwis than Northern sides.

How can you talk about rugby when you never played rugby? It's almost like having a coach who never played for the Boks or was never a head coach.

We all played rugby. I weighed 68kgs at 20. So was always too light. I will never forget my last match for Durban Collegians. I grabbed the opposition wing around the shoulders and he walked with me hanging on for dear life to the tryline and dotted down. I quit after that.

Very cool sarcasm in your response. I would expect nothing less from a Elite poster.

BTW...did anyone read Rassies response to the Kiwis on the fact that we are not all that.

He said " a lion doesn't worry about what a sheep thinks.."

:lolno:

That is gold....I just hope he can back it up.
I sense a challenge coming up here...

Although NZ preferred playing Fiji over the boks, it emerged that Japan was not interested, neither the Aussies, French etc. Seems only Georgia was interested. Probably because it would be their first tour to SA

Ha ha! All Blacks only get to play 2 matches...against Fiji. No wonder Ali C is having such a meltdown. They're so proud of their crowds and full stadiums and zero Covid. And now they get only 2 tests against Fiji.

NZ have a right to be proud. They have done very well. You on the the other hand have a right to be ashamed. SA response to Covid has been criminal at best. Of course you do not possess the grace to be ashamed. Far too arrogant.

That's expected in the Lions tour year. The All Blacks have the Rugby Championship to prepare for afterwards, and then the November tour to the NH.
