Hopefully another celebrity to sue or publicly threaten it (like Isaac Hayes' estate, Celine's people) ... or maybe get in the game and throw support to Harris?

Trump shockingly refused entry to the DNC, really he's like a bad smell that won't go away. Did the dog just fart, is the tiolet backed up, is Donald being a perv again.

He's probably a little upset because in addition to all the polls, his shitty media company's stock price is in terminal decline after his unhinged rant-a-thon with Space Karen.
It might just be that him going back on Xhitter, one of the many competitors to his SM platform, wasn't such a great idea, when his presence on it was the only reason the fucking thing exists commercially, so him running off to Xhitter just shows how doomed it is.

And "Elon's" little social media platform ain't exactly doing well, either, as it becomes a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Pfft he's solved the cost of living crisis in the U.S with one simple approach, we all visit Narnia and when we come back the crisis is over Can't wait for his policy on the environment, "when you wish upon a star ..."

You wonder what Biden has been waiting for. Maybe he doesn't know that it is just a case of ordering it.

But that's exactly what a large number of people want to hear. They don't want to have to listen to global factors, difficulties, sacrifices; they want to hear simple stuff: "Prices will come down!", "We'll create 6 million new jobs!", "We'll build a wall!"
Populism will never go away sadly...

No idea about his thoughts on policy etc but the energy Tim Walz will bring to the campaign trail was needed IMO.
Harris and Trump have been in the public eye for a while and in theory the two VPs are fresh and should be able to make an impact for their boss.

If you want full on weird, MAGA ists have started turning up to rallies with little jars of 'JD Vance sperms samples' to have a go at Walz and his wife needing fertility treatment.

I'm finding it really interesting that Harris picking Walz as VP candidate is very similar to Obama picking Biden. Older middle age white guy, long time campaigner on solid Democrat principles, capable of being genuinely funny rather than funny enough for a politician.

Ha, yes lol.
He started his speech fairly normally and then went full Tonto over Ukraine.
He now is a buddy with Trump lol
Dear Lord , he is now quoting Tucker Carlson
LOLOLOL, Fat Americans should be in a Circus (to slightly paraphrase what he said)
Even with Trump in the game, he seems like the nuttiest politician in American politics.

The latest grift has been revealed; no surprise it's crypto.
Shares of Truth Social (DJT) are down nearly 3% in Thursday afternoon’s trading after Trump revealed his family’s new crypto platform, “The DeFiant Ones,” which will be launching in the near future. Former and potential future President Trump took to his Truth Social platform to announce the launch to 7.5 million followers, calling on them to sign up for access. He stated, “For too long, the average American has been squeezed by the big banks and financial elites. It’s time we take a stand—together.”

Dems need to recreate that classic anti-drugs ad; "this is your brain, this is your brain on drugs" ..... but with a picture of RFK Jr as the one on drugs !
Kennedy blamed the two-party system and unfair media coverage when explaining his decision to a room of reporters and hardcore supporters gathered Friday.
“In an honest system, I believe I would have won the election,” he said. “In my heart, I no longer believe that I have a realistic path for electoral victory in the face of this relentless, systematic censorship and media control.”
This one could really backfire on Trump, apparently besides the Swifties getting real upset and who knows what the legally minded Swift is gonna do, the images are apparently in contravention of a number of State's electoral laws Well done Donald.

He hasn't faced any problems himself for a violent coup/insurrection, so I think we can safely assume he'll face no action for some pictures

Big difference between Civil & Criminal proceedings; his track record in Civil actions is one long streak of losses, & in Swift he'd face a woman who can pay for it out of the loose change down the back of her sofa.

I don't see why Swift wouldn't want to engage and get into a spat with Donald. Unless she really wants a very pubic argument which increases the chances of her getting shot and perhaps loses her some audience ahead of being shot. She could, but she could also just have a much nicer life and good luck to her

I was surprised to read this headline (and the article attached) on the BBC site. Granted that she has not gone into depth on policies yet but she has still outlined far more specifics that Trump, yet the article focuses on her campaign. Not very impressive by this news organisation.
