Munster deserved winners. Bullied the Stormers.
Libbok back to his old ways. Brannas and Xaba missing. Dan du Plessis the best Stormers on the day. Congrats to fat Frans. Must be his first try ever in rugby.

Good crowd, & a bit of niggle that showed how much the players wanted to win.
I think it was you who said it was good to see these new rivalries build ?
I was thinking the same watching Lions V Leinster, they don't do dull games, & they both want to play similar games.

The Bulls and $hark$ under pressure going in the last round of making the quarters and qualifying for next years Champions
Cup. Cardiff look like qualifying from the Welsh conference which means the 2 lowest from Benneton (40) vs Stormers Away, $hark$ (41) vs Munster home, Bulls (43) vs Leinster home or Connacht (44) vs Glasgow away will fall out. If it go to PD $hark$ are in trouble. The Stormers need help from Embra to get into 2nd spot.

Would be some choke from Ulster if they manage to balls up getting 2nd, after the lay-up from Munster. I don't for a second, doubt our ability to completely shit the bed though.

Bulls and Sharks are pretty much secured unless the Stormers losing streak continues and Benetton beats you by lots and lots.....like plenty. Like 84 points.....
I don't know where you are getting your info from.....
The South African teams winning the weekend are getting into form....the others have peaked too soon and will struggle with travel , the ref and being overplayed.

Post the log again and look where the $hark$ is. Your 8th position depend on Connacht and the Bulls. If they win this weekend, you are out gone. Challenge Cup and out the competition. 8th position will be reserved for Cardiff.

Connacht and Bulls can go through even losing and getting 2 bonus points (within 7 and 4 tries) on PD.

You seem to be using an outdated table
Sharks are on 46, Connacht 49, Bulls 48, Treviso 41.
Doesn't really change the analysis though.
Glasgow have nothing to play for but are at home. It'll be interesting to see their team and effort.

If Glasgow let Connacht win and Munster lose in SA, Glasgow have Connacht in the QF rather than Munster. Scope for shenanigans.
Although Glasgow v Munster is probably the only international URC match-up with proper needle between the sides, so I'm assuming Glasgow would relish taking on Munster in the QF.

Cheers Boet.
Well Connacht PD is 32 Glasgow 113, they will need to let Connacht win by 81 plus. Glasgow can overtake the Stormers if they lose to Benneton.
So its pretty much Leinster vs Sharks, Ulster vs Bulls, Stormers vs Connacht & Glasgow vs Munster.

A BP win for Connacht and 0 points for Munster would make Munster and Connacht swap places, though. Unlikely, but possible. And if Connacht lose in Glasgow, both Bulls and Sharks can overtake them with any win they themselves get. So it could be Leinster v Connacht.
Glasgow v Munster the only one that's pretty much locked in.

Oom, not sure what you're on about.
Connacht can't overtake Glasgow. No one can. The point was that they might game the match to bump Connacht into 5th so they have an easier quarter final.
If Connacht finish level with Munster then they go ahead on the table so a bonus win for Connacht would mean Munster would need two bonus points against the Sharks.

Not sure how that's locked in? Top four are locked but 5-8 are all up for grabs and may come down to PD or games won.

Munster are 4 points ahead of Connacht and 5 of the Bulls. Barring both Glasgow and Munster majorly fucking up (or in Glasgow's case, throwing the match), that tie is locked in. I really can't see that one change.

Connacht only need to finish level with Munster and Glasgow have nothing to play for. It's not a stretch that Munster only get a bonus point and Connacht get a bonus win.
It's certainly not so much of a stretch that Glasgow/Munster is locked in.
