See you on the other side, guys. I’m away to turn off my phone and hide in a cupboard for a couple of hours. Someone shout when it’s OK to come out?

Gregor Townsend's Scotland are the ultimate let down team.

Nothing from Gray, penalties from Gilchrist and I'm struggling to remember anything from Skinner.

Russell rubbish, van Der Merwe very weak this game. Not much from Hogg. Svtums really need sorting.

Graham good. That's about it.

Usual self inflicted shite.

Cardiff is in Russell and Hoggs heads. They’ll never win there.

Graham, Fagersons 10mins and maybe Schoeman the only bright parts.

There rest were so poor.

Embarrassing display. Only Graham, White, Bradbury and maybe Hogg with any positive contribution. Pack didn't gain parity in any part of the game after the first 10 minutes.

So, overreaction time for 5min.

We bought an attack coach out of his contract. What is he actually doing in training with them?

Edit: and while I'm at it. Their line out was shite last week yet we hardly competed. Even with 2 min to go we didn't compete. Inexcusable.

It's not being silly. It was the exact same last year. Good win for England and then pish against a pish Wales team. Whose fault is that? The coach.

We have the players. We don't have the coach.

Gray is back to his usual self after appearing to gain a bit of an edge with the Exeter move. Gilchrist poor and Skinner looked lost. Nel is past it.
Watson never seen other than in defence.

Schoeman was probably okay.

Scotland lack so much composure and discipline compared with our competition. It’s just constant never ending brain farts and basic errors. 4 times in 5 minutes - Finn’s yellow, Zanders most obvious penalty of all time and VdM being stripped twice. Other teams simply just don’t do this with such regularity.

My immediate reaction is that dropping Johnson was a catastrophic mistake.

Tuipulotu didn’t play particularly badly but nothing fired in the backline and Finn had no outlet at all- lost count of the number of times he got the ball and just had to shovel it on with no Johnson to make the clever run and relieve the pressure. We couldn’t make any ground of first phase and then even when the space was opening up on 3rd or 4th phase no one was available to make the runs, give Fin the calls etc, I put that squarely on Johnson not being there - it improved slightly when Redpath came on.

It didn’t help that Price looked really slow as well - I think he took a head knock in the first - 10.

And of course the stupid fucking penalties. We have the best defence in the tournament but still give away stupid penalties. It’s fucking madness

I fucking hate seeing VdM going into contact leading with the ball held high across his chest. It's mental.

That's what gets me. Players arriving late at rucks and still trying to compete when they must know they have no bloody business to.

Hutchinson is still playing well in a largely hapless Saints side, I'd be interested to see what he could do outside Russell. More interested than Townsend is it seems.

Should say, I thought Graham was excellent. On reflection Hogg was OK too but hard as a back 3 to influence the game when 1-13 are mostly playing shite.

Redpath, Hutch, Bennett, even Jones would add a whole lot of attacking options.
