Jamieson, Wagner and Southee certainly were, but Boult, while improved on yesterday, still looks short of a gallop. Not attacking the crease like he can and tending to put the ball there rather than bowling it.

Thought he was fine. Not quite his usual. And his stats also looked good (compared to Southee).

In fact that should have been 3 wickets for Boult, had Southee not dropped that sitter.

That's what I said — not quite at his best. Southee may have had worse figures, but he bowled far better, which is the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Also very unusual for Southee to drop one. Taylor's usually the culprit there.

Southee dropped Burns on 60* and the guy more than doubled his score at Lords last month. Cost NZ the win.

It’s possible. There’s no time being lost fetching the ball from anywhere other than the keepers gloves or two feet in front of the batsmen.
