I can't remember. Lions tours of the past. Did the boks play against the Lions for their unions?

Some did in 1997. James Small played for WP 2 weeks before the first Test, but no Bokke were available the following week for N Transvaal. Maybe that’s why they won.

Jeez I hope the game tonight is a good one. We need it from all this off the field stuff.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility.

Perhaps they should give this match test status.

It’s 6pm in the UK, presumably to roll into the footy…

Positive lateral flow test in the Lions management team. Two other members of management and two players identified as close contacts, whole group PCR tested, awaiting results. Suggestion the kickoff v Sharks has been pushed back an hour so the tests can come back.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

I guess that is the advantage of having no fans. They could move the game to tomorrow if they really wanted to.

If this game is cancelled, I assume Sharks will be awarded a 28-0 victory?

Asking for a friend.

I think the whole tour is heading rapidly down the the toilet, which would be a shame. One for the record books but not in a good way

Yes it is bloody awful news that I don't see improving. Feel for the Lions players who have put so much hard work to get to this point. Even if the "tour" continues, they'll only remember it for Covid tests and hotel rooms.

So they'll only award the points scored in the first half then?
