Yo thx, seen it, just edited above. Trust Herschel and Cobus can do the job as well, no worries
It's an honor for Hendricks. It's an honor for the Sharks and all their supporters. Faf will be fine. If not Cobus will do a great job.
One thing for certain. The Sharks players in the side have done the union very proud. Even Siya has benefited from his rehab program at the Sharks and the game time before the tour.

Our other scrumhalves are class, we can be quite relaxed. Actually I would like to see Cobus given a chance, he has been in great form lately. Herschel always rises on the occasion, so no sweat either.
I'm pretty sure we will see Duane on Saturday, which will be great for us. If PSdT is out, move Mostert to 7, he is familiar with the position and in fact it has worked really well for us in the 2nd half yesterday. This will allow us to bring Lood into the starting XV, he should be up for it by now conditioning wise. His cameo of the bench was nothing short of impressive yesterday, he was everywhere, every lineout and maul, every kickoff reception went to him. He made a huge difference, impressive performance by him, got us on the front foot.

Emma Smit on Twitter saying Boks were already focused on next game this morning
I think the third test last tour really hurt us and is the one we all wanted to win this time, in addition to the other two of course
Lions are a bit fucked if you ask me

He don't realize that 8 of yesterday's starting XV (6 in the pack) played for Rassie's Stormers team.boere wors wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 6:15 pmIt's the Springboks, we are all South Africans. Dan du Preez should have earned himself a go at 8 for the boks with his recent form for Sale. Yet he was affected by covid and has now been sent home together with his brother. I hope both are back for TRC.
Sikhumbuzo Notshe is out injured, he will certainly be in the mix once recovered.
Jaques Vermeulen was a stand out player for exeter the last two years, worth a look at.

All fit and in form, I would have them from best to worst as 1. Vermeulen, Coetzee, Du Preez.boere wors wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 10:15 am Dan du Preez should have earned himself a go at 8 for the boks with his recent form for Sale. Agree regarding Wiese, hasnt impressed. Defensively he was fine on saturday, but his ball carrying was poor. But one has to say, filling the boots of a duane vermeulen against the british and irish Lions on debut is a big ask, and for that he has done quite well.
Yep, still a laaitie, so a big ask to come and replace one of our best players.boere wors wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 10:22 am Agree regarding Wiese, hasnt impressed. Agree. Coetzee has just turned 30, if he only would stay fit for a longer period of time, he would be a great asset to have for the boks. Quality player, has matured immensly in Ulster and covers all backrow positions.
Springbok coach Jacques Nienaber named three new additions to the national squad on Monday, with Rosko Specman, Dan du Preez and Johan Grobbelaar called up to join the Boks in Cape Town.

No, no need, but he certainly should be in the bok mix for TRC and beyond. Just like other class players such as Jan Serfontein, Marcel Coetzee and Jean Luc du Preez.

Ja I messed that one up. Was going to edit then never got around to it. Also I was referring to a Kolbe replacement rather than Mapimpi

Do they need another hooker? Dweeba is still there isn't he?
