The Scots trash the Wallabies. Can't believe we lost twice against that vokkers.
What if I was to tell you that it was a very different Australian team
What if I was to tell you they are where we were shite away from home.
You'd still be shite if you picked a 2nd XV.

No more different than Scotland's was to their respective 1st XVs.
Although TBF Scotland still had most of the same people out vs SA.

Well, here we go. Having dicked around with a strategy and selection that was broadly successful for 2 years and Fra playing like turkeys as a result over the last 2 matches, rather than admit the error, Galthie is now into the player blame game.
https://www.rugbyrama.fr/rugby/test-mat ... tory.shtml
Jalibert out and Ntamack in. Completely missing the point that the backline was failing precisely because he shoehorned Ntamack into 12 which also screwed up Fickou's long held position of leader of the defensive line too.
BB looks out too so ABs benefit from Mounga coming in. The margin of the AB win goes up another step.

I can't see how the Scotland team is relevant to the fact that it's a very different Wallabies side to the one that beat SA twice. I'm trying to put Scotland down by pointing out it's a bit of a shadow team. England thrashed them, too - this version of the Australian team is garbage

Stretching a bit.
Basically the Aussies are our bunnies. Win 3 in a row, 5 of the last eight, and two of the Aussie wins in the last eight games have been by a single point.

Just a bit of scrum porn to fire up those fellow front rankers for Saturday. I've rewatched all of the scrums from the Scotland clash to see how the Springboks go. The starting front 3 Boks are real short guys. Ox is 1.73m or 5'8". They're all pretty much the same height. They're about 10-15cm shorter than the Scottish front row. Zander Fagerson and Schoeman are not weak props and got completely smashed here. The Nche-Mbonambi combo working on the Scottish tighthead while still scrumming legally is awesome to watch. Fagersons feet are left dangling.

From the Bok tighthead side. I never rated Trevor Nyakane but he's one of the most improved Boks in the last year. He dealt with Schoeman with ease.

That whole front row has been outstanding. At scrumming. Really impressed with them. This is their first season together if I am correct.

I missed a very important 'not' in my sentence there!
Trying to explain to a Saffer that the Aussie side on tour is not the Aussie side that beat them is the only aim here.

Oom, your offerings to the mockers are far too obvious.
Between all our forwards, starters and bench, there's only two who definitely stand up to their opposite number - Itoje and Marler, one of whom has just 'recovered' from covid. Sinckler's almost certainly better around the park than his Bok counterpart, but probably not at the set piece.
Boks will take our pack apart at scrum, lineout and maul. If our ball protection last week is anything to go by you'll do us at the breakdown too.
Boks by 15.

REPLACEMENTS: 16. Gaëtan Barlot, 17. Jean-Baptiste Gros, 18. Demba Bamba, 19. Thibaud Flament, 20. Dylan Cretin, 21. Maxime Lucu, 23. Mathieu Jailbert
- FFS. These hooker selections get crazier. Okay, we can debate whether Marchand is no1: he probably is because he's the only one who throws straight, often enough. But to exclude Chat (think he is recovered from injury) or Bourgarit in favour of Mauvaka or an unheard of Barlot...... v the friggin' ABs......
- Atonio.
- Woki at lock again. Farcical. Only out of position in order that Gathie can keep Jelonch in the team because he's clearly no Aldritt. At least Tao has gone and a proper lump starts in the 2nd row.
- As expected, Macalou was only ever getting one chance before being ejected forever.
- Backline is at least balanced again with Danty being a suitable substitute for Vakatawa (albeit a pen machine one) BUT Ntamack over Jalibert is a bitter irony for Jalibert i.e. he is dropped due to a malfunctioning backline that largely malfunctioned precisely because Ntamack played at 12 the last 2 games. By that thought process, Ntamack would have been incentivised to play as badly as possible.
ABs by plenty with Aldritt, Dupont, Fickou and Villiere having to do all the breakdown/turnover work for Fra.

We're gonna get gubbed at the set piece, so congrats Boks!
Hmm. Agree with the set piece looking like it will get reamed but based on SA tactics to date and ability in open play, no reason to suggest it will be a hiding.

New Zealand have lost two in a row five times since 2000, in around 250 tests
(I was surprised at how many games they've played)
But not for ten years?
Last year, Argentina and Australia
but it does show how strong NZ are, even if they are not the side of Ruchie and Dan

I see what you did there...
Meanwhile Cane is back... I would have had Papalii on the bench as insurance...

It looks strong until 11.
Maybe front row need a performance they are capable of.
Mid field meh.
Back row good, aside from Bridge who hopefully makes amends for that disaster start he had.
