That was a really ugly challenge from the Irish 13. Thankfully the England player was ok.

What did the Welsh do with the U20s that were pumped by every other side in the 6N ?

They've been told that if they play well enough here, they can get a contract outside of Wales. A powerful motivator for sure.

That's twice now that Wales have missed a very good opportunity for a try

Welsh front row handling and stupidity is costing them. Game could have been over.
As for NZ, if you are going to do that self indulgent, embarrassing, screaming nonsense before kick off, you'd better not be sh*t.

Had Aus for a narrow win on that one. Fiji will do the usual of looking promising Rd1 and then watch them concede 70 against Eng.

Aus loosehead is off with a yellow, pending a second TMO review to see if it gets elevated to red.
I had forgotten they were doing that in this tournament

Jnr Wallabies win 46-37
So far the best team I've seen today is France, but it was a training run, they looked big, slick and powerful, Japan looked like they had fielded their U15 side in comparison.

The Georgians show the issue for tier 2 teams, they are good at parts of the game, but they fail to capitalize on the opportunities when they get n the red zone.
It just looks like a lack of games against decent teams.
