Se we are stuck with "hyperjade" abomination until Nike designs a new alternate jersey. Traditionally those only come out every second year, se I suspect we'll see a lot more of it until then if I am correct and this is not a RWC-only directive.
I read it as World Rugby run events, so just the World Cup. If it includes SANZAAR events we'll never see the All Blacks play in a black jersey against the Boks in a green and gold jersey again, which would be really fucking stupid and add nothing.

My call, on 60 minutes in addition to the normal bomb squad stuff:

In the forwards Kwagga comes on for Wiese, Van Staden for Kolisi, Fourie for Bongi. There's then 4 backrows on the pitch, all very mobile three of them ground players.
In the backs Reinach comes on at left wing, Kolbe moves to right wing, Arendse moves to fullback, Willemse moves to inside centre, De Allende moves to 13, Kriel goes off.

Boks then have three openside type backrows playing towards the ball, Pieter-Steph and RG Snyman carrying, and two scrumhalves recycling. We probably then see some stuff we haven't seen before, it's a team built for possession and running at the end of the match.

Lots of risks though, could go wrong in the first half if Ireland get a good start, then the Boks are chasing.

Sound great. I'll be happy if we play running rugby. One bonus point will probably be enough.

Libbok will be the key. If he and Willemse get our outside backs in space.

The best thing for the good of the game is an Ireland loss to have the Scotland v Ireland game as a proper competition.
SA wil really want to avenge the last game between them.
Ireland win this then they play France in the final

Extraordinary gamble. Ireland are a hardy attritional team particularly in the backs. The idea that a Speedy Gonzalez group like SA are banking on getting to 80 with only needing one replacement is fanciful. Suppose they can stick a flanker in tge middle or on the wing but seems a mad risk just to make sure you can tighten the noose. What if your game plan is fucked and Ireland are ahead by a few scores?
I thought you guys liked a gamble?

I think Rassie might be hiding in plain sight. The Russell Bramd of coaches. The hiding bit. Not the touching people up bit
Russell Brand is an Irish referee

These were all good (third and fourth clips are in the first clip, but gives a better look), Ireland very likely to go to the air, which makes the choice of no Mapimpi bold (my guess is because Arendse can play fullback which allows more options). RasNaber must know Ireland are going to the air looking for space, wonder what the Bok strategy will be. Guessing that they're going to go with a possession based game to limit Irish chances, but they'll also know sides which don't kick lose. Not liking the idea of a kicking duel with the Irish.

On the other hand if Ireland are going to throw massive lineout balls to win useful ball and stand a chance of beating the Bok defence, that's advantage Boks. RasNaber will know it's coming.

I am worried about Etsebeth. I just cannot believe that his injury has healed this quickly. I suspect that's why the 2 locks on the bench. I would just hate for him to be out of the game for months on end like last year.

This was the game I feared the most. Whilst everyone ells were sitting here kaking their panties about Scotland, I thought ahead to this game. I was dead sure the Boks will beat the Scots but this game, it's going to be a battle. Scores will be close, where any missed opportunities can determine the outcome.

One bone crunching tackle with a head knock to your kicker and that bench looks out of whack...

Ireland can win this, easily.

Perhaps don't accuse other teams of strutting when your team takes a whole half an hour to do a manly dance routine before every match. I see you brought your own wooden spoon this time. A bit presumptuous of you to think you'll get that far, no?

I'm reasonably sure the Boks are focused on Irland and nothing ells.

You were right about Scotland, but why the nerves about this match then?! Even if we lose to Ireland, we will go through. It is a bit of a nothing match.

Let's not get arrogant lads. Stay humble. No chest thrusting or beating until the final whistle. Just remember Ireland beat New Zealand in a series in New Zealand. They are a very smart and organized team.

This test will be the big one for Libbok. Pollard give the other option and a combination (Pollard 1st half, Libbok when it open up) the best plan.

Meaning there is still much space for improvement for the coaches.

Look it's very simple, we need to win this game to put it beyond doubt. We lose this game, and we rely on what happens in other matches to go through. The chances of Ireland losing to Scotland is small, but there's still a chance. So, the question is do you want to put your fate in the hands of others, or would you rather make sure yourself?

When I was a kid, my dad told me the way to catch a duck was with a piece of meat on a string. He reckoned they couldn't digest meat and it would go straight through them... throw it out there and soon, you'd have a duck on a piece of string. Then another duck would come along.... and before you knew it, you'd have a bunch of ducks on a piece of string.

that's how you catch ducks.
