Don't know what's happened to Zarn, but Plummer's in SA with the All Blacks.

Hah. I soooo long ago lost interest in the "3N". Haven't even read anything, let alone seen any of the games.

Last time Auk lost all 3 openers in an NPC season?

A bit of a squeaky bum there at the end but we got the job done. Auckland lose four in a row for first time in ages, obviously carrying over from last season

The side with the fewer glaring errors won.

Canterbury seemed to sort their game out mid-2H, better than the Orks.

It looked as if BoP had this one under control but Otago are only 2 points behind and hot on attack, with under 10 mins to go.

Good. Should be worth 10 points, not 5 just as extra punishment for such a stupid move!

The Bay make it 4 from 4 with a tight fought win over Canterbury 27 - 21. Either team could have won this one, some bad calls going both ways, and the bounce of the ball really the only separator. As a Bay supporter we'll take any win over the Cantabs especially in Christchurch, but Canterbury definitely going to be there end of season.

Bugger, I missed this. Sounds like a cracker match

EDIT: just watched the highlights and that was some comeback from the Stags after a pasting in the first half.

Tale of two halves to be honest as both teams adopted Hawke's Bay's tactic of running it when the kick might have well been the better option. Interestingly, for rugby nerds, the kick throughs were working for both teams as cover defense seemed to have had a night off for both teams.

We have your back Kiwias

Great match to get Round 4 rocking already, disappointing crowd, though not the worst of the season.

Both matches ended with a late try to the trailing team giving them the win. Otago scored 18 points, in case anyone is confused.

Waikato score early vs Auckland

Good guys ahead 32-7 at HT.

NZ U20s first five is having a tough intro to NPC footy for Auckland, but tbf the field kicking from everyone has been piss poor.
