Scotland best not fuck this up by losing to Argentina. Can't ever remember NZ, SA and Australia all losing at home on the same day.

Would have had good odds on a Wales Ireland England treble today.

I think I had it right. Either here or on PR.

Still sucks, though Wales deserved the win.

I think the SH's problems all arise from playing too much easy rugby.

Closest I got to a correct pick for today's games was France winning, but my predicted margin was way off.

Still 2 games to go. So you are A_K? It was the Eng result that prevented my GS last week.

Cotter's wholesale changes and Aus A doing the same made that game impossible to pick for me. I didn't pay enough attention to SA's mass tinkering until I heard it on the radio on the way to the airfield and thought then that I had f**ked up in picking them to win.

The real shock for me was Sco. Not that they won, but the margin of turnaround.

In fairness to Argentina, run that one again and I don't think it would be quite so stark. I counted at least 3 occasions where they got over or to the line and it was chalked off for various reasons. A few interesting scrum calls when they were in promising positions too. Just one of those days for them.

Yep, was my original Scrum.Com and PR log-in, never got round to changing it on Superbru
I didn't notice the SA team changes either and thought all the SH teams would improve over last week

FTFY

That’s how sport works. Every team in every game in every sport has missed opportunities, wrong decisions, poor execution, bad luck etc

Why is it when Scotland win, particularly against the prediction, that it’s always down to other factors as opposed to just being the better team. 4 tries to 0 away from home is a pumping.

Oh climb down off your indignation horse, at no point did I say you weren't the better team or that you shouldn't have won, merely that the margin has a story behind it and that is multiple possible tries for Argentina being chalked off.

There is a difference between losing a game where you actually create stuff, let alone cross the line multiple times without scoring, and when you don't . I only saw the second half of the New Zealand - Ireland game, but, until the final 5, NZ created basically nothing. Argentina will be happier with their display than the Kiwis I daresay, because having tries chalked off due to poor finishing/good defence from the opposition at least shows that attacking structures are working to provide opportunities even if they aren't taken.

Yeah, what's that about? In contrast to previous weeks, I suspect we might edge this one, but it'll be by no more than a score.

In fact that can be said of all the games this week. I don't think anyone will win by more than 7.

Winners:
NZ
Eng
SA
Sco
