Yep lying through her teeth
Going to cost both of them a fortune in lawyers fees!!!
In her ruling, obtained by the PA news agency, Mrs Justice Steyn said it was "likely" that Rebekah Vardy's then-agent, Caroline Watt, "undertook the direct act" of passing the information to The Sun newspaper.

"Nonetheless, the evidence... clearly shows, in my view, that Mrs Vardy knew of and condoned this behaviour, actively engaging in it by directing Ms Watt to the private Instagram account, sending her screenshots of Mrs Rooney's posts, drawing attention to items of potential interest to the press, and answering additional queries raised by the press via Ms Watt," she added.

Mrs Justice Steyn continued: "In my judgment, the conclusions that I have reached as to the extent to which the claimant engaged in disclosing to the Sun information to which she only had access as a permitted follower of an Instagram account which she knew, and Mrs Rooney repeatedly asserted, was private, suffice to show the single meaning is substantially true."
I haven’t seen anything about a costs order yet, but it’s quite possible Vardey will have to pay Rooney’s costs as well her own. As well as trashing her own reputation she could find herself having to pay out a few million in lawyers fees.

Proceeding with the case and then lying through her teeth throughout the trial demonstrates weapons grade stupidity on her part.
Beeb report was that Vardey could have to pay, up to, 70% of Rooneys costs

Could be a fair old whack out of his current salary at Leicester. I'm sure they will survive!!!
Jamie Vardy signed a 4 year / £29,120,000 contract with Leicester City, including an annual average salary of £7,280,000. In 2022, Vardy will earn a base salary of £7,280,000, while carrying a cap hit of £7,280,000.

TBF the Bin Laden family is huge (over 600 members apparently), and most of them have little or no connection with Osama. The main branch is hugely wealthy and very close to the Saudi Royal Family.

It seems this donation was handled properly under Charity Law and Charles himself had nothing to do with it. Charley-boy accepting £2.5 million in used fivers in a suitcase is much dodgier than this one.

Olympic gold medallist Matt Walls was hospitalised after being sent flying over the barriers and into the crowd following a huge crash on day three of the Commonwealth Games track cycling, which also saw spectators hurt.

Walls’ GB team-mate Matt Bostock, a Manx rider, was also caught up in the multi-rider crash, with both athletes being taken by ambulance to hospital alongside Canadian rider Derek Gee. One man in the crowd received treatment for cuts to his arm while a young girl also received minor attention.

Meh.

It's like being ringside at a fight; you should expect to get sprayed with blood, & sweat, & potentially a partially chewed ear or two.

Also laughing at the reminder of how cheap and shoddy much of the Sharpe stuff was. I love the books and Bean was great casting, but you can't really do Napoleonic era warfare justice with 30 blokes and a smoke machine.

30?! As I recall the Battle of Talavera consisted of 4 Frenchmen and about 10 Brits.

I did dislike it when Cornwell went back and edited Sharpe's childhood to give him a reason to have a Yorkshire accent.

It was, however, brilliant that his dumb lawyers sent all of his text messages for the last two years to the parents' lawyers by mistake, proving that he had lied under oath.

I did wonder that as well, particularly as they didn't take any steps to protect the information when informed of their mistake. From the Guardian report:

"The revelation surfaced during an exchange in an Austin, Texas, courtroom between Jones and Mark Bankston, a lawyer representing the parents of a six-year-old boy killed in the 2012 attack. ....

Bankston provided to the Infowars host a copy of a text message he received that criticized his platform’s coverage in 2020 of coronavirus and likened it to his false theory that the Sandy Hook killings were fake. This was deeply unfavorable to Jones because he had provided sworn testimony at a deposition that he had no text messages on his phone that referenced the Sandy Hook massacre.

“You did get my text messages?” Jones asked Bankston, while on the witness stand. Chuckling sarcastically, Jones added: “You said you didn’t. Nice trick.”

Bankston replied: “Do you know where I got this? Your attorneys messed up and sent me a digital copy of your entire cellphone, with every text message you’ve sent for the past two years.”

Bankston said he told Jones’s lawyers about the mistake, but they did not take “any steps” to label the texts as privileged, and thereby keep them out of court.

“That is how I know you lied when you said you didn’t have text messages about Sandy Hook,” said Bankston, whose clients are Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, the father and mother of Jesse Lewis, who died in the shooting.

Jones tried to parry by saying he would not have turned his phone over to the attorneys who then inadvertently forwarded the texts to Bankston if he was trying to hide anything. ....

“You know what perjury is, right?” Bankston said, referring to the crime of lying under oath. “I just want to make sure before we go further.”

I'd certainly be tempted - I can only imagine how hard it is to defend someone you'd rather just throw through a window. It's not just defending people you know are guilty, which is simply professionally executing your duties and responsibilities to the court, it's defending people who are abhorrent.

If I was a defence lawyer I'd happily take one in the loss column to see Alex Jones slapped down. Which is one of many reasons I'd make a bad lawyer.

Well the shitstain has obstructed discovery all the way; & this indeed was one of the lies he was admonished about by the Judge, when he claimed he'd complied with it; so he was the one putting pressure on his lawyers when they inevitably were forced to turn over his phone data.

He ran down the clock, & left them no time to discreetly purge the data; instead the Judge pointed a gun at the lawyers head, & said comply of face the consequences, & the lawyers weren't going to end their own careers for slime like Jones.

Ah well, the inevitable happened, & he's lost the case; but the Jury is only awarding $4.1m, versus the $150m that the the bereaved parents were looking for ......... but this was Texas, a notoriously difficult State for suing in, & the case turned into a complete cake walk, & now the evidence uncovered can be used in other States, & the other lawsuits.

And as an added bonus; the shit stain has now perjured himself in Texas; which is a crime they actually do take seriously, & he may also have committed bankruptcy fraud too, because hes been caught moving money around to avoid having it in the gun sights of the plaintiffs; & that could potentially have him facing Federal charges, where he has zero friends, the jeopardy, is an order of magnitude higher.

The chinless shitstain will spend the rest of his life, like the orange shitstain; being the defendant in an endless series of court cases.
