If you can't play champagne rugby against the tournaments lowest ranked team then you have a problem
Well, yes, but with where we at we need to use every game to build for what we'll do against more serious teams, not give the subs a bit of a jolly.

TBF Arundell and Lawrence should be starting.

Where's this England been?

Not playing Chile or another team who's in their first world cup that's where they've been.

Honstly what a comment

Christ Almighty, the gap for Daly to run into was wide enough to get a bus through, so he kicks it and gets lucky as the Chilean makes a hash of it.

Astonishingly bad commentary. I know they're broadcasting to a domestic audience a large portion of whom will be casuals who don't know that spanking Chile is nothing to write home about, but come on.

Farrell and Daly have done enough to start. I don't think Smith, Arundell and Lawrence have.

Fuck me. I predicted we'd get 20 minutes of Ford-Farrell in this game. We're going to get half an hour. Pretty clear what we're doing for the rest of the tournament then even though Ford - Lawrence - Marchant is our best, most balanced midfield.

I agree. My money is on Farrell, Tuilagi, Daly or Ford, Farrell, Tuilagi being selected.

Arundell. A World Cup hat trick scorer. A hattrick. In the World Cup. Are you not watching ITV? He’s the second coming of Jesus. Not done enough.

Why bring Rodd off? It's not like Marler needs the playing time.

Once he has the experience but lost the step and pace then we will select him. It is what we do.

TBF, it’s just the idiot commentators and pundits, the England team are being pretty respectful and just playing what’s in front of them

Edit: unlike you cunts who couldn’t even start a match thread

Out for a birthday meal so unable to watch, but with this humiliation of the mighty Chile it sounds like England are back on track to win the whole thing

I really hate Smith, mainly because of his face, but I love watching his movement off the ball, really impressive

A scottish granny away from loving him. At least you know that the conservatism in English rugby means we won't maximise his talent.
