Find this Ukraine stuff really pathetic...the support for Ukraine is baked into UK politics and hardly dependent on Johnson remaining as PM.

I only caught the tail end of it a couple of weeks ago but there was something on the radio about Zelensky maybe making an appearance at the Tory Party conference.

I hope that doesn't happen obviously but understand Zelensky needs to do anything he can to keep Ukraine in the public eye in the West - a state visit to the Queen would obviously be the appropriate way of doing this.

The support for Ukraine is one of the things I would concede the government has gotten absolutely right and so much better than many other European nations. However trying to use it as a shield against current scandals its utterly pathetic and simply wrong.

I find it really distasteful considering Boris's pals, the London oligarchs and laundromat, lord lebedev.

This government is totally unserious. Last week it was announced the Tories stopped a newspaper printed a story about Carrie performing oral sex on Johnson in the workplace when he was married having tried to get her numerous high paying jobs and that's the second known time he did something like that and not one of them batted an eye lid. There is not one cabinet member with even a shred of seriousness. They wouldn't have put up with him at all.
