Cockerill told him go off, spend time in Super 6 or the Championship, and if he could get his body sorted out come back in a year or two.

In his first game for Heriots he had a career threatening, and possibly life altering, head injury. He was told it was the end of his rugby career. But he recovered better than expected, and is back playing. Ironically, the break appears to have done him good in that his body has had time to recover fully. He is playing with a smile on his face as only a few months ago he thought he'd never be back on a rugby pitch.

Chamberlain will certainly be off as he's fourth choice and Savala will be the development 10.

I just watched the highlights and he makes the entire Southern Knights backline look like they are running in treacle for the first try. He is also an absolute unit. Still only 22 so could yet make it pro.

Erm, I should probably point out that I wasn’t being facetious here! I searched yesterday and saw the game confirmed for the Friday night but now just seen it’s been confirmed for the Saturday lunch time!

There's a good chance Lyon won't give a monkey's about that game, they are currently 7th in the league, top 6 go on to the play offs. The Top 14 is everything.

Top 8 qualifies for the big cup next season, they have four regular season games left, one is away to Brive, then they have Montpellier, Bordeaux and La Roche, currently 1, 2 and 3 in the league.

If Glasgow go full tilt and have a good day, they will win, imo

I thought was changed a couple of years ago taking away the automatic right to get into the Champions Cup for a team in separate countries.

Well, it's effectively been dropped for us and the Italians, but the new format of URC effectively reinstates it for the Welsh, Irish and South Africans! The winner of each 'shield' gets a Euro place. Then the four next highest ranked teams in the overall table.

Scotland are in talks to play Chile prior to their three-match summer series against Argentina.

The plan has emerged as Scottish Rugby confirmed the final details for their games against the Pumas, which start on 2 July.

"No formal agreement has been reached at this stage," it said of the potential match in Chile.

Could try a VPN on your phone? But equally might be as easy to see what other broadcasters have them, might be easier to try and use Stan or Rugbypass or something in the Netherlands than get round SkyGo geoblocking

Seriously, FFS. When I cancelled Sky Sports it was because I hardly ever watched it and I was sick of funding the EPL. Since then, the Lions tour, all of the Scotland football games and now the Scotland tour have all been o Sky.

No contract, buy one month. Give you lots of half price offers and stuff when you cancel. I haven't had a sky sports subscription for a long time, but I had eight months of all the sky sports channels for £16 a month last year.

Given they'll have most of the summer internationals one month subscription really works

You can either cast it to your TV or do it on a firestick. Or your TV might have the Now app
