A lot of opportunism from Glasgow in the end. Beyond Bulls tackling, there were half a dozen rucks where several Bulls forwards were standing with hands on hips against either small single Glasgow backs or knackered players with just a hand on. Just one of those forwards could have disrupted possession with less effort than a tackle.
If you’re guys aren’t fit enough to go the full eighty, they’re not working hard enough, or not being coached properly.

Fassi has fucked up 5 times already.
Kicks off left
and right foot.
Pace to burn
Great under the high ball
You are just jealous that he got a magnificent try as you said that...
Eggman
Fassi first 9 mins: turned over on attack, dropped high kick, out of position for long kick, passed behind Mapimpi and missed a tackle. What a star!!!

It was the service from the Westville Lion. Kok just had a run in, a gentle jog.

Another power try by Kok.
Cameron Wright is terrible, but he’s still a faster 9 than Hendrikse.

Pick the champs from your home 'burb. Where are you from, Strand or some place? Willie le Roux and Damien Willemse it is then. I'm sure we all agree that's inferior to Payne, Murray and Wright.

Duvet! A blast from the past. I would say a young Duvet would've scored that, but his top speed has always been a fast walk.

Vorster red card for stupid head clash.
Sandstorm watching people in the crowd with the Wright signs whenever a player is from the 'burbs of Durban they get big support, then seeing some through the legs distribution Wright razzle of a loose ball to setup an attack, he then comments through gritted teeth "stupid Sharks".

Wright was ok off the bench, but Chamberlain was fucking useless. Sharks lost all attack potential as soon as he came on.

I have told you.
It's like I have stepped back in time to a Stomps v Sharks match thread from 2012.
No Duvet is not better than Du Preez or Ruan Pienaar. Cobus Reinach and Charl McLeod aren't worse than Duvet suddenly just because the Stomps edged the Sharks. No Duvet should not be starting ahead of Du Preez for the Boks. No Duvet isn't ahead of Francois Hougaard and Jano Vermaak at the Bulls. No Duvet isn't close to Ross Cronje at the Lions either. Piet van Zyl at the Cheetahs also definitely ahead of him, Tewis de Bruyn also maybe. Basically every SA team has 2 scrumhalves better than anything 2012 Stomps have.
You guys have never forgiven me for mocking you having Duvet as first choice, and the understudies being Bolla Conradie, Nic Groom and Louis Schreuder. Rassie left the Stomps in 2011 and it was an immediate collapse!
Debating Duvet in 2024? Fuck my life. We had about 10 players better than him in his prime!

Looking at those names it's remarkable Duvet had any rugby career at all. Persistence is an underrated trait.
Still going over a decade later. Still wasn't the best 9 on the park which was Wright. Still rated by Oom. Shocking!

Ricky Januarie had a long career in France after he left SA too. No reason why Wright can’t do that in Georgia or Wales.

Hoping one of you knows how this should work...
My Viaplay subscription ends in a week. The URC matches are now on Premier Sports.
Viaplay are offering me a good deal (£59 for the year) to continue the subscription. But am I right in thinking that won't give me Premier Sports access?
Do I need to subscribe to Premier on its own now to keep watching?
The thing that confuses me slightly is that I can still see the URC logo on the Viaplay app. But I still had to sign into Premier yesterday to watch Bulls-Glasgow.
Yours,
Old and Confused
